Guest Matrix Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 Why is it - that the one who shits more completely on your face - Is he then the one who continues to feel the embrace and love of those who support these type sites of escort review and forum conversation more fully over this one? When Daddy is at his worst - This site seems to spike in activity and conversation, in regard to posters sharing there displeasure. And then it fades back to the dull drums that it has always been. But in the end - It's always Daddy who is laughing all the way to the bank (with his review advertising and self pity begging for donations) That keeps the conversation over there to a level that this site has never known. Where are all the people that came here during daddy's last breakdown - NOW? Why is this? Besides the fact that this sites forum infrastructure sucks more than a hungry, desperate, tina seeking bottom looking for his next snort and fist up his ass....Why is this? To make my point - Where is Lucky now? Well, as usual, he is gone, to where and when again he has a platform for his expressions and ego fulfilling posts....Where he usually is.... But seriously, where has everyone gone? I'm Just wondering ...... Quote
Members TampaYankee Posted November 22, 2009 Members Posted November 22, 2009 Where are all the people that came here during daddy's last breakdown - NOW? Fairweather friends... well actually ill weather. When the ill winds blow over there some of them congregate here. Sort of like 'any port in a storm'. But like an abused spouse they always return home for more of the same. Books have been written about the psychology. Read them if you wish to know why. Besides the fact that this sites forum infrastructure sucks more than a hungry, desperate, tina seeking bottom looking for his next snort and fist up his ass.... Please elaborate. Quote

In every way I have ever known for a forum. It's not meant to be nasty, it just is....Look at Daddy's form. It's big, friendly and welcoming....In it's template of user experience. Quote

It's not meant to be nasty, it just is....Look at Daddy's form. It's big, friendly and welcoming....In it's template of user experience. The elaboration is no more enlightening than the original remark, but I am resigned to leave it at that. I've said it before and I'll say it one more time... a Forum is made up of the sum of its contributors. All the admins can do is provide a room, establish and enforce policies for privacy concerns, civility and open particpation. Additionally, the site has the responsbility to maintain forum security necessary to inhibit and otherwise police abuse. As a site and as admins, I think we have done all that we can do that is likely to make any real difference over the long run. People either wish to participate at a critical mass level or they don't. One complaint has been received that the onus of a login to post has discouraged posts. Maybe so, but I suspect it may have more to do with viewing non-hot-linked forum photos which also requires a login. I just haven't had the numerous complaints about logins that leads me to believe that we have lost hundreds or thousands of posts over the years or more recently. Bottom line: you guys collectively make the forum what it is. If your post is to encourage others to participate then good for you. If it is meant to prompt us admins to come up with some great new idea that turns darkness to light, well... I'm not a big believer in utilizing remote mind control techniques, nor are we in a position to offer tax credits for particpation. People are either motivated on their own to participate or they are not. Quote
Members RA1 Posted November 22, 2009 Members Posted November 22, 2009 I would be interested in posting more here but even though I look most days it seems that there are few new posts to read and it also seems many times to take days to see a reply. After 3 days and then magically there is a reply or two, I don't lose interest but it does make me feel like why not just check every 3 days. I realize I have basically described a catch 22; to see more posts, write more posts. Another point already made several times is the inclusion or exclusion of "characters". Apparently there are plenty of folks who like to see other posters called names or otherwise generally denigrated. Constructive criticism offered in a positive manner seems the best but what do I know? Best regards, RA1 Quote

I don't understand it either as you first presented it, or as you elaborated. Not a criticism; rather a genuine query out of interest. Quote

Not a criticism; rather a genuine query out of interest. Yes, I see your point. When I said "Look at Daddy's form. It's big, friendly and welcoming In it's template of user experience", What I meant was that for me, it feels cramped and isolating in these forums at MER. Strictly my experience and feeling of course. I like the V-bulletin interface size and functionability over this type interface and template. Quote

Guest chillmaster01 Posted November 26, 2009 Posted November 26, 2009 While I do look at this site and Forum I don't nearly spend close to same amount of time here due to the lack of reviews. While I have been criticized for content of reviews and completeness I feel it is a sole lack of desire of writing a review as they have become too restrictive and time consuming. People take the path of least resistance. When I am looking for a review to check someone out I always go to Daddy's then read the review and who wrote it to see creditibility. I don't always or actually seldom come here as chances of finding if not at Daddy's is slim to almost none. The reviews is what draws me to a site and then to forum. Quote
