AdamSmith
From experience tonight, looks like the time to edit posts is 20 minutes. Then it gets locked. Is this right? And if so, could you think about extending it? At least to 30 minutes, preferably (to me) to an hour? Thx.
Members JKane
I'd prefer longer as well.
Members MsGuy
TY, at least give us the hour back. "It is a setting in the forum software. I thought it was set at an hour but I will ask Oz to check and reset if necessary." TY
Members TampaYankee
An hour seems good to me. Sorry it got changed. We will have to wait for Oz to check in as I lost my key to the forum inner sanctum.
Guest StuCotts
In my admittedly spotty recollection of the history of this topic, time was when we were free to edit our posts for at least an hour, probably more. Then one day a massive brawl broke out (details?) at the instigation of that very occasional contributor who posts at great length in on-and-mostly-off English (name?. At the end of it, Oz put his foot down and cut edit time down to 20 minutes in order to prevent I don't remember what abuse. Will Oz now want to reverse his decision? TotallyOz
I have changed this to 60 minutes per your requests. Personally, I don't think a good idea as if you need to edit a post, 20 minutes should be OK but I'll all think 60 is fair, 60 it is. We will see how it goes down the road.
