October 6, 200916 yr I have 120k miles this year. I need 5k more miles to make their highest tier. I have a few trips planned and can easily make that. But, they now offer roll-over miles. If I don't make the next tier, I will roll over 45k miles into next year and only need one long trip to get to Platinum again. I don't see the benefits of Diamond vs. Platinum with their new program. At least not that much difference. Any one see things I am missing?
October 9, 200916 yr Active Members Delta is still shaking things out with the merger.Many(most)NWA elites are not at all happy with the changes DL has put in place. My advice-do whatever you can do to reach top tier-you are so close.There will be special promotions availble ONLY to Diamond tier members. I will be flying DL in BF tomorrow for the first time.I will report back.I had a VERY good transcon with UA last week.Looking forward to comparing the two.
