I'll have the programmers work on this. Please post any other inconsistencies you see. We did test everything in a beta site but when you move this much data and then try to reconnect all the dots, some of the dots don't get linked. TotallyOz Posted September 27, 2009 Author Posted September 27, 2009 Tons of issues with the old site. It was very outdated technology and we spent too much time and money to try to hold it together. It was poorly designed by a team I worked with many years ago and it was all we could do to keep it from crashing. The database was getting too big to control and the speed was getting slower and slower. That on top of many other issues made us make this move. It was holding on by a thread and we decided to fix it. Sorry guys! Quote

What I think happened is that the programmers put the majority of photos in the XXX category and I will now have to go through them individually to classify at G or XXX. There are over 10,000 images and I am working on this right now. I'll try to finish up in next 24 hours. Thanks for the heads up. Quote

We needed to upgrade the code as many parts of it were breaking and the site was not doing well. We also want to add videos and several other new features to the site. Instead of adding those things to a site which was held together by thread, we decided for a new rework. This project has been in the forums for a year now and has been discussed many times. Under "Latest Escort Profile" (do you mean Profiles?) on the right, the link for collegeboyforyou says the profile is not found. Fixed and fixed. Thanks for the heads up! Quote

I clicked on Reviews, got to the relevant page, clicked again on the blue tab and found that I had to go via his city and eventually scroll through all the reviews for his city in order to find him. It used to be that I could just type in the escort's name. I didn't find a way to do that this morning. Is there no way or did I do something wrong? Also, a small niggle: see the quotation marks on the title of the Gingrich thread. Addendum: I just clicked on Reviews again, and nothing happened at all. I have no idea why. Is your Views counter keeping up? It wes at 37 for this threwad when I started this, and still is. I'm getting a complex from the complications. I'll go away. Quote

To recap, the first time I logged in and tried clicking on Reviews from the Pub page, Quick Search didn't appear as an option, and I got the location route. Subsequent tries at clicking on Reviews from the Pub page have given me nothing. Finally, I found that if I'm on the Pub page, I have to click on My Profile/Account first, then on Reviews, that gets me the Quick Search option and I can find any escort by name. If you are on main part of site and not forum, this should be solved now. They still have some issues with the forum area. On the old site you entered on the home page. Now you enter there, click on the login, click on the login user name box, click to enter info and end on an account page and click again to get to the home page. The light gray sidebar color just doesn't work with the forum colors. It all blends together which negates the pop factor of the forums. Even making it a little uneasy on the eyes. Maybe experiment with a darker color as your backdrop to bring some life to the forum colors which I really like. Personally I would carry it over for the entire site. There are just too many warm colors and need a little shock. Quick edit: I just noticed when I click on a profile you have a dark gold color as the backdrop. That probably would work much better than the current light gray that is being used. Quote

Now, I keep having to click the "yes, I know this is a dirty website" screen. It doesn't remember that I've clicked it, and the homepage URL isn't different so I can't bookmark my way past that. I tried to search by name but couldnt find that option anywhere. When I went to California both north and south I couldn't find San Rafael? What happened to the simple search by escort name?
