TotallyOz Posted August 23, 2009 Posted August 23, 2009 I saw this movie last night and really enjoyed it. It was a bit comical at times, a bit grotesque at times and a bit of bore at times. But, overall, I found it quite entertaining. My Thai boyfriend went with me and he loved the sleep for 2 hours. I don't think he sleeps so sound at home. But, my attention was focused and I thought the movie was well made. It it rake in 14M on the first weekend. Not bad I guess. Quote

With the exception of Grind House, his pictures always grab my attention. I have seen Kill Bill so many times I've lost count -- both of them. I never tire of them. It's sort of like to Rocky Horror Picuture Show for me, just good old outlandish over-the-top entertainment served up well. Easy targets for move critics that just have a dedicated following. I look forward to this one. Quote
Members BigK Posted August 26, 2009 Members Posted August 26, 2009 Great movie. Go see it at once. Wonderful rewriting of the end of WWII. Tarrintino really cements his position the premier director of our day. Quote
Members JKane Posted August 26, 2009 Members Posted August 26, 2009 I liked the movie but just didn't get the point of re-writing the end of WW2 in Europe. Quote
