I cannot tell you how shocked I am that people actually buy into all this. It really is mind-boggling. I don't mind requests for donations to help a site. No problem with that at all. I don't mind solicitations at all either. But, I am one of the few people who seem to realize what Daddy should make from his site each year. When I first read these requests for donations, I sent Daddy and e-mail and offered a good monthly income to Daddy to "help him out" in exchange for his traffic. Naturally, he did not respond. Why? The answer is simple. He either hates me to the point of unable to communicate or he doesn't really NEED the money (notice the difference between need and want). I see no reason to hate me other than I am a pain in the ass. So, that leaves one other option. For those that can't add 2 plus 2 and get 4. The requests for donations are a joke! You might just get the Mother Teresa award if you don't stop being so kind. lucky i know we have our much known differences but you are wrong here and i am being polite about this. i now personally of two other people who offered daddy money to help him out one to run a ad on his site the other was in the form of a long term load. in both cases daddy did not even respond. now i do not know about you but if i needed cash and was in a bad financial situation and have posted very publically looking for cash i would not turn down any reasonable offer. its not as if oz is asking daddy to make a snuff film. As for OZ offering daddy a strong monthly income for traffic i think its fantastic. daddy could have benefitted from much needed cash, according to daddy, and oz would get traffic for his sites in exchange. in case u did not kknow this lucky what oz offered happens hundreds of times a day between sites ... its very common to buy traffic. in fact there are sites dedicated soley to selling or brokering traffic. if u have a valuable painting and needed money badly and someone offered u a very fair price for that painting are u gonna sell it or just wait to get evicted? lucky i think u know u would sell it. And lastly lucky while daddys site draws more traffic currently, it isn't really by much. so its not as if daddys traffic is the only source oz can find. Every story has two versions (sometimes more depending on the number of witnesses.) There are several versions of a story going around about the behavior at Hooboy's funeral and the time immediately thereafter. The versions I have heard from several different people make the posturing by some in this thread seem very hypocritical if not out and out lies. Notice I say seem since I wasn't there.. I also recall a thread here just a few months back where during one of my infrequent visits I commented on how uncomfortable I felt here as a result of some of the things written at this site about the other site and it's owner. You would have thought I had threatened to eat someone's young children, the way so many here vehemently denied any such sentiment. Gee, that looks somewhat hypocritical too now in light of this thread. I have no knowledge of what is going on at the other site with regards to this subject. But in addition to the above mentioned version of what really went on at the funeral, I can think of a number of reasons why there has been no response, not the least of which is the venom expressed in this thread. And really there is also the real possibility that there are other things at work like embarrassment and denial . I'm just saying that there's a lot of people here ready to jump to judgment and no one here really KNOWS. But the dislike here , and even hatred are very plain to me and that much is known.. I will say that my first offer was advice and assistance. I was most willing to help him and offered this advice free and most graciously. But, you are right, I am not Mother Teresa and have tried too hard to mend fences over the years that I should not have even made any gesture at all. Not sure what you are referring to at the funeral to be honest. If you think I have ever lied about anything, please sit down with me and ask me any questions you want. I'll be totally honest and upfront with you about any question you have. I am often said to be too honest that I hurt feelings easily and that is also never my intent. There is really no hatred at all Jackhammer. Honestly there is NONE. I am sure that my postings on this thread even made TY uncomfortable. It was never my intent to make anyone feel uncomfortable and if I did that, I do apologize. I have been taught by some of my mentors on this board that I should know when to "hold em, know when to fold em, know when to walk away and know when to run." I should have stayed way clear of this thread. Simple intelligence told me that. My gut reaction told me that. My fingers did the walking and just didn't know they should be resting. I never really thought about Daddy being embarrassed or in denial. It just did not occur to me until you brought that up. My main point after I saw this thread was simply to point out that things are not often how they look. I can’t imagine that Daddy is hurting for money as the site should be a win/win for him. But, I may just be such a bad judge of websites and the money potential that they can make that I overestimated what Daddy should be making. I should have said my two cents and then shut up. Trying to figure out which club we should go to each night. Or all of us in a Montreal strip club... with us conspiring to get him in the back room against his will with the very cute stripper that he was so infatuated with. And how RED he turned when we succeeded! And so many other wonderful adventures... be they in NY, Thailand, Brazil, or Montreal. Where have all those days gone? Yes, those were great times, memorable times. We knew him very well... you, better than me. And yes, things are not always how they look. How well those of who know, know.
