Members BigK Posted June 21, 2009 Members Posted June 21, 2009 I really enjoyed this movie. Roger Ebert says "Now this is what I'm talkin' about. "The Hangover" is a funny movie, flat out, all the way through. Its setup is funny. Every situation is funny. Most of the dialogue is funny almost line by line. At some point we actually find ourselves caring a little about what happened to the missing bridegroom -- and the fact that we almost care is funny, too." I initially didn't plan to see this movie since the title made me think it would be a stupid movie. So I went in with no expectations...often times a good way to see a movie. I laughed a lot. Any one else see it? Quote
Members Lucky Posted June 21, 2009 Members Posted June 21, 2009 The title turned me off as well. I did see The Proposal and found it delightful. Friends forced me to the Year One movie, but we all agreed after 15 minutes that we couldn't stomach anymore of its unbelievably stupid humor. Quote
