Cambodia Holds Mr. Gay Contest

18 young men, some claiming to be bisexual, joined in on the first Mr. Gay Cambodia contest. The winner was a 19-year old high school student (a late bloomer?). Here's the article from the Phnom Penh Post, which includes a picture of some of the smiling contestants:

I never watch Idol but I sometimes dance with the stars. Sometimes shouting in an empty room can be theraputic. Helps purge the psyche of angst, if temporarily.

Cute guys. I can see why the winner won, late bloomer or not, he blossomed nicely.

I've never watched a full episode of american idol. count me as one of the 12, I guess.

Thanks for this Lucky. Loved the article. I know of other gay parades in the gay friendliest place on earth, Thailand, that were canceled this year because of opposition. Glad that things are growing in Cambodia.

I haven't watched since the 2nd season. AI is just another iteration on the old Arthur Godfrey Show theme.
