I'm afraid it's DOA. Intriguing concept, a ruling Monarchy (not just figurehead) at war borrowing heavily from David & Goliath. A gay prince (with an unfortunately week chin...although I wouldn't throw him out of bed), and a dashing outsider hero. I'd like to see more of it.\ Anyone else have an opinion? btw, if your interested, nbc.com has a pretty good online viewer to watch all 5 episodes. Quote
Members JKane Posted April 21, 2009 Members Posted April 21, 2009 I believe it was intended as more of a miniseries (or like a UK show) than a regular show, though if they put it on Saturdays it probably won't have any shot of a follow on series. I've only seen the first 3 or so. Kinda intriguing... the most interesting part to me is that in this Kings alternative reality there's some kind of 'god' who actually gives a shit. Quote
