There's already too many continuing full and half page ads in the back of HX using black as their background including that of Rentboy. Otherwise YUM! Guest zachary Posted February 6, 2009 Share Posted February 6, 2009 its ok i think it can look better. i like much of it except the free listings free photos and free forums part "free" is kind of overused. plus the layout of those 3 free services is kind of odd, doesn't really attract my attention. good luck with it though. black means high class, except in the chewing gum that bombed in the 90s white and red mean comedies re the posters green, minty, germ free, mouthwash, comet white, clean yellow, lemon fresh, foot powder, brown? not even garbage bags anymore i like the ad, but does it stand out, i don't know... now i can imagine the commerical, tired of hiring people whose pic is this, and when they show up, they look like this? u can show it from both sides of the coin. btw, the network doing the super bowl would not run the ad for the dating site for married people wanting an affair, the commerical was pretty funny, husband putting his hand on his wife's lips while he talks on the phone, looks at his teeth in the knife's reflection, generally a slob, and then the wife smiles at a man at the next table. pretty clever. Or maybe some highlighting and shadowing to give some depth. Otherwise I think its pretty good. I do like that you put that the reviews are actually looked over and careful consideration is put into them. That is something very unique to MER. What would attract your attention? This is just the one for a few weeks, we can change it whenever we want but need to find a designer to do it for us. That is always hard as I do not have good tastes when it comes to colors and stuff. Nasty thoughts are my forte. Please consider changing the background color. Guest FourAces Posted February 8, 2009 Share Posted February 8, 2009 since u asked i would drop the free listings, free forums, free photos in favor of a block quote such as: Interact with both clients and escorts in our informative 24/7 message center. i wouldn't be too concern about escort listings in this ad as the ad itself is sure to attract escorts to the site. i believe its more important to stay focused on one message ... in this case clients. also one thing i have learned about print ads is they need a boarder ... a tasteful very thin pin stripe boarder would be perfect for helping the ad stand out. again good luck with the campaign. as the more people discover the site it will only make it stronger. then i can start a few forum wars to scare them off Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
