The Hookies will be in NYC this year-and YES I plan on attending!The party for this was soooooo much fun last year and I know my adorable friend Sean(The New York version of Brandon Baker)will throw a great party this year! This like the Politics in this country is rigged. Advertsing, good old boy network. I can tell you that last year through a confidential source I heard who the winners were and voting had hardly started. I believe it while I should have after seeing the results it was obvious it was in fact correct. In late December this year I already heard the results and sent myself a communication of what I heard and will wait till after the announcement and if in fact they are correct again and they came from same source I will be confident that it is truly rigged. I will then share my communications with the vast friends here and the documented dating. While I in my wisdom hope it is incorrect and fails as I really like the people from Rentboy I am also a realist and can understand the economics of such. It looks good that we vote but who really knows if they are even calculated. Also there is fact that the information is a prediction based upon popularity and knowledge based on sites, hits, and forums and reviews. And maybe and a distance maybe actual results wouldnt be that far off real results. I guess it is just who knows but I have again date communicated my information and we will see and if too accurate I will gladly forward and share my findings. PJ Quote
Guest MichaelVincenzo Posted January 29, 2009 Posted January 29, 2009 I am certain that the whole RentBoy of the Year contest is a scam and I would love to see the pre-dated results after all is said and done. One year I got a call from Rentboy telling me that I was a "finalist". I emailed everyone on my mailing list to ask them to vote for me and when someone went to the site my name was nowhere to be found. I called Rentboy on that and they said that they had made a mistake by calling me. True story! I, myself, am not too fond of the Rentboy staff. Anytime there is a problem with one of my ads, and trust me there is a problem each time I place a new ad, they turn the problem around to make it look like I did something wrong. It would be nice if they appreciated the paying customer (escorts) for keeping them in business. With that being said, I guess I just knocked myself off the nominations list again this year. Who knows, maybe I will still get a call and then later find out it was again my fault. Life is kind of funny, right? Quote

I would question this since a some of the winners last year were folks that are totaly out of the regular group of folks who attend the parties and such.One who one a top award could not havebeen further out of the loop-he was not even there to accept the award even though he lives in LA-where the award party was held. I would urge you to send your "insider report"to a well respected third party-say Tampa Yankee-before the voting ends.You say you have it in your possesion now-fine,send it today.If the results are released after the voting jive with what you have then this can be backed up.If not then I expect you will be the first in line to apologize. If you wait to release your" insider report"till after the event occurs without sharing it with a reputable third party then you open yourself up to questions.Not questioning your verracity at all here-just making sure that you cover yourself. It is already in an email sent to and from a secured server and has been sent to a reputable third party. While I dont say the information I received is accurate or correct other than last year it was with exception of one person was 100% correct. This information was given me the first week of December and I have heard similiar information and names from another source that is close to Rentboy with same names. It is not a matter of creditbility it is a matter of whether it is rigged. I have nothing to gain one way or another and if it is wrong it is merely wrong, if it is right it still could be wrong as it could be just great guesses. Personally I couldnt care one way or another as I wont bother voting anyhow. I hope in fact the the awards are accurate and that rentboy awards are 100% legite Paul Quote
