UNWANTED POP UPS

Hey guys,

I have stopped by here in the past and even started some threads (I will never win the trip tho).

But in the last few days I wave wandered in here since the other site is down. BTW, people have been pretty tough on the owner of the other site. I know some people don't like the owner and staff, but for civil people, some of the guys here have been pretty intense in their hatred.

Anyway, not why I stopped by tonight,

I have a question and maybe someone here can help me. EVERY TIME I stop by here, even if I don't log in, I get a pop up from a place called Male Nation VOD. I have tried setting a block on the site but being computer challenged, I don;t seem to be able to find the secret.

Can someone point me to a solution? I really don't want any pop ups. I also find it interesting that this site apparently has set a pop up because I only get that window when I stop by here. Is it that they have paid the owner here for the referral or advertising. And am I the only one getting this? If so, How did I get so lucky?

The best way is to bookmark:

To my knowledge, the only popup is when you enter the site and enter the enter button. There should not be more popups. Are you getting any others?

Well, thanks for the explanation and the bookmark suggestion. I will try that and see if it works for me.

So then the ad is set by the the site for anyone who uses the enter button on the first page?

To the other responder, I am using Firefox and have pop ups blocked. What happens is the window opens on it's own, but is hidden until I close the browser I am using.

When I'm brought in by responding to a comment I don't get the ad.

I tried the suggested by-pass link and it works fine.

Thanks to all who offered help.

I'm curious, though, if we cost the site money if we don't see the ad.

I am glad the bypass does not penalize the ad revenue. While I really hate pop ups, I want to pay my way if I use the site.
