January 7, 200917 yr Active Members I visited the Apple store in the new Mall in Glendale this past weekend with a friend.While I can appriciate Apple and its cult like following(The Simpsons had a great take on this)I'm sorry=this is not worth close to 3x the price of other comperable lap tops IMO. That they still get away with this really is amazing to me. I bought a cute little ASUS for travel SSD,linux based,easy built in wireless access=$350!It weighs less than 2 pounds! For those unfamilliar with Asus(as i was before the purchase)they actually make laptops for apple and others.
