A woman visiting Boston for the first time is eager to sample its best-known fish dish. She jumps into a cab and asks, "Where can I get scrod?" He: "Gee, I never heard it put in the pluperfect subjective before". Dubya is writing his autobiography. He's been told of the imortance of a strong first sentence.
