TotallyOz Posted April 20, 2008 Posted April 20, 2008 I saw the new movie 88 Minutes yesterday and enjoyed it. It was interesting and full of suspense. I enjoyed the show but did think that the story could have been a bit better. I knew the "who done it" early on but perhaps just a lucky guess. From Fandango: Al Pacino stars as Dr. Jack Gramm, a college professor who moonlights as a forensic psychiatrist for the FBI. When Gramm receives a death threat claiming he has only 88 minutes to live, he must use all his skills and training to narrow down the possible suspects, who include a disgruntled student, a jilted former lover, and a serial killer who is already on death row, before his time runs out. http://www.fandango.com/88minutes_85769/movieoverview?date= Quote
Members OneFinger Posted April 22, 2008 Members Posted April 22, 2008 Haven't seen this movie. But at least two reviews are saying that 88 Minutes is 87 Minutes too long! http://www.suburbanchicagonews.com/napervi...8_88_s1.article http://www.nypost.com/seven/04182008/enter...long_106956.htm Quote
Members JKane Posted April 22, 2008 Members Posted April 22, 2008 Yep, 'Ebert' and Roeper gave it a scathing review as well, sounds like a major embarrassment for Pacino. Quote
Guest Hoover42 Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 Wow, check out the Rottten Tomatoes summary for 88 minutes. It's a 6! http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/88_minutes/ One of the lowest ratings since Ben Afleck and Jenniger Lopez in Gigli! ...Hoover Quote
