But those here on a fixed income have to cut back somehow and I am a little concerned at how high the baht will go. The boys still want the same, so it means cutting back here and there. One less boy a week, and fewer visits to check out the bars. I don't just throw my money around like before. I almost dread looking at the exchange rate on the bank wall. Gaybutton Posted March 23, 2007 Share Posted March 23, 2007 There is still some hope. Yesterday the baht closed at 34.56 to the US dollar. Just a few minutes ago it was at 34.76. Immediately prior to posting this I checked again and now it is at 34.80. Let's hope it's the beginning of a reversal, but it's obviously too soon to count on that.
