Guest CTDick
I just got a pop-up with the Safari logo on it for DriveCleaner.com. The description sounds good (clearing my harddrive history of sex-related visits). Is this legit? Any experience? Dick
Members TampaYankee
No experience here. Go to download.com. See if they have a review and trial version. Check user comments if any. Google for other comments. Check PC magazine online. Again google for a URL. Look before you leap.
Guest CTDick
Thanks, TY. I Googled them and found the following on Symantec.com: Behavior DriveCleaner is a misleading application, which gives exaggerated reports of security and privacy risks on a computer. The program then prompts the user to purchase a registered version of the software in order to remove the reported risks. Dick

Guest BudFox
The only thing I want popping up when I'm online is, well; I'm sorry what was the question? I got suckered into a "registry cleaner" which did nothing more than what I already do regularly under the guise of speeding up my pc and correcting all those unfindable problems. I got my cc credited. These people work off of fear (which they inject) and the user's lack of pc knowledge. It's much better than it ever was however, why I remember a day when you had to reboot just to stop the sex ads from taking over my processor, or so I've heard
