Human Weapon: Muay Thai

Recommended Posts

There is a new series out on fighting. I subscribed to this from ITunes. The series starts off with Muay Thai boxing. It gives a glimpse into the sport and it has some great scenes in Thailand. I recommend this to anyone who has visited the country or wants to visit the country. I really did enjoy it.

I caught the first two epsiodes. Muay Thai is most interesting as is watching the kids being trained for it starting as early as age six. Amazing athleticism on the part of what can only be said are slightly built kids and men but no less powerful.

There is also a series on the Travel Channel, Andrew Zimmern's Exotic Foods, or something like that. Here, exotic doesn't mean expensive or exclusive, quite the opposite. He travels the world tasting the unusual (to me) local cuisines. He spent much of an hour travelling Thailands highways and backroads. He has a very strong stomach and an open attitude.
