Beyond that, a peculiar show. I've seen only two episodes, but from what I can tell there are no heroes. All the men, at least so far, are contemptible to a greater or lesser degree. The signals all point to one of them eventually coming out of the closet, to us if not to his work mates. That would be a concession to modern requirements. Another is the on-screen (hetero) sex, which amounts to boiler plate. The women are depicted as more complicated than the men, but not much.
