Guest StuCotts Posted July 23, 2007 Posted July 23, 2007 I stumbled on this show knowing nothing about it and recalling only that I had liked the leading man (Jeffrey Donovan) in a show called Touching Evil that was riveting but had a grim premise and lasted only one season. This show is 180° away from the earlier one. The writing is very sharp and funny. The situations are off the wall, and played with lots of humor and irony. Donovan's acting wisely owes a lot to Cary Grant. He is also a lust magnet of the first order. They get his shirt off pretty often, but overall are much too sparing with the beefcake to suit me. I'm waiting for the time he is put in a revealing bathing suit and made to come at us through the surf (think Daniel Craig in the last Bond movie). Quote
