TotallyOz Posted July 21, 2007 Posted July 21, 2007 Last night at 12:01 AM I was in line with a ton of others to pick up the latest copy of Harry Potter. This is supposed to be the last book in the series. I have close family who are in their early teens who wanted the book at midnight and their parents did not want to take them so I loaded them up for a wait in line at midnight. It was so exciting for them as they have never gotten to do something like this before and they were so excited about the release. Apparently lines were forming all over the country for the release and the excitement was in the air. The location I went too played Harry Potter trivia and if you answered a question right, you got a free movie pass. I have loved all the movies they have made so far but the books are by far the best. And, from the point of view that reading really does help young people succeed in every job they want, it was fantastic to see them all so excited about a book that weights a ton and thicker than any book I was assigned when I was in high school.
