Guest epigonos Posted July 19, 2007 Posted July 19, 2007 Hey Oz I think this one is for you. I am currently planning to visit Thailand sometime after the first of the year. Right now I intend to fly from L.A. directly to Bangkok and then go immediately to Pattaya for four nights at the Ambiance Hotel. I will then go to Bangkok for seven nights at the Tarntawan Place Hotel. I will finish my trip by returning to Pattaya for three nights also at the Ambiance and go directly from there to the airport for my return flight. I will be traveling with an escort from here and hope to return to the hotel each evening with a different Thai guy. I hope to be an absolute whore. I find bodybuilders a turn on so I guess I will be spending a considerable amount in the Tawan. What I am asking is -- How does this all sound to you? Will I (we) have any problems returning to these two hotels with Thai guys? Do you have any recommendations that might be better than what I am currently planning. Any information you or any other Thailand adverturers might provide will be greatly appreciated. Thanks Quote
Members firecat691614502759 Posted July 19, 2007 Members Posted July 19, 2007 Don't quite understand why you are making 2 trips to Pattaya. With traffic, it can still be a wasted 2 1/2 hour ride each way. I would end the trip in BKK so that you have a short ride to airport when you leave. The trip home is long enough. The Hotels you have choosen will be no problem bringing an orgy to your room as long as they have ID. In BKK Tawan definitely has many body builders but depending on whether there is a competition in the near future, many can look pretty soft. You will find many other stars at other bars in BKK In Pattaya the search may be a little harder although the new Crystal Boys has some nice men. Don't know if you like Tops or Bottoms but Bottom Body Builders will be very hard to find no matter what they say prior to leaving with you. Feel free to fire off any other questions. I'm sure between OZ ,myself and KY Top, we can give yo the answers. firecat Quote
Guest epigonos Posted July 19, 2007 Posted July 19, 2007 Thanks for the reply firecat69. My thinking about dividing the week in Pattaya into two parts was that I thought it might be nice to relax there during the day after the long flight from the U.S. Then I would return again for three days before the flight home after an extremely busy and exhausting week in Bangkok sightseeing during the day and playing hard during the nights. However, if you think the trip back and forth to be a wast I can certainly rethink that aspect. As regards wanting guys who are tops or bottoms I usually insist on guys who are versatile. I can be somewhat flexible here but I seem to recall that KYTOP once mentioned that he found guys at Tawan who were willing to bottom. Would I be better off to go in late May or early June since I believe that is the off season and the guy might be more flexible? Thanks again for your suggestions. Quote
Members firecat691614502759 Posted July 19, 2007 Members Posted July 19, 2007 Oh You will find versatile guys . I'm just saying , make sure they understand what you want and that you will send them away if they dont do what they say they will. Also many will not say what they will do in front of their friends. In some ways BKK can be very relaxing because of the massage parlors. The ones in Pattaya do not compare. If you are a beach person then the daytime can be quite fun but you are not likely to find much in the way of muscle boys at the beach. The bottom line is you will like which ever one better based on the boys you find. Of course BKK has much more to do in terms of sightseeing and shopping. If the escort you have is young and goodlooking boys will be offering all sorts of things(at least the gay ones) Not sure I agree with your Hotel choices. They are a good choice for a first time visitor but you might find them a little cramped for 3 ways and more(just a thought) Quote
Guest epigonos Posted July 19, 2007 Posted July 19, 2007 I was planning on taking "Deluxe Suites" in both hotels but if you have better suggestions PLEASE let me know. I am not by nature a beach person so the visit to Pattaya is primarily for R & R. and something a little different from Bangkok. I plan to be in Thailand for 14 days and simply felt that was too long to spend entirely in Bangkok. What do you suggest? The main purpose of this trip is to do a little shopping and lot's and lot's of sex. The escort accompaning me in NOT a twink by any stretch of the imagination but he is very handsome and has a body to die for -- buff, buff, buff. Quote
Members firecat691614502759 Posted July 19, 2007 Members Posted July 19, 2007 I would go to Pattaya first because there it will be just relax and sex. Nothing else to do really except if you like Tigers I would go to the Tiger Zoo. For a few nights the Ambiance should be fine. Since I gather this is your first trip to BKK then the Tartawan is very gay friendly and is near most of the Bars. The downside is BKK is a very hot and hectic city and I find there are some days I just want to rest at a nice pool and unwind. The Tartawan has none. Just my bias and maybe not important to you. I found after the first trip I enjoyed getting a fairly large 1 bedroom apartment with beautiful swimming pool etc. I'm not familiar with current Tartawan prices but probably comparable to the 1 bedroom apartments I am talking about. You will need to use taxis more but they are very cheap and you will see more of BKK. Anyways I'm sure you will be happy with your choices. Quote
Guest epigonos Posted July 20, 2007 Posted July 20, 2007 What massage parlors in Bangkok do you recommend? Also are there any special restaurants you would care to recommend? I am very fond of Thai food but like just about anything. I understand lunch at the Oriental is worth the cost and effort -- do you agree? Actually I have been in Bangkok twice BUT that was over twenty years ago so and I was traveling both times with straight friends. Thus I wasn't able to sample the city's sexual delights. I would also be interested in any suggestions for out of the ordinary day long sightseeing excursions in and around Bangkok. I also enjoy shopping for Asian antiques and jewelry. Do you have any suggestions in these areas. Thanks again for all of your assistance. Quote
Members firecat691614502759 Posted July 20, 2007 Members Posted July 20, 2007 B&N Massage on Sukhumvit is usually good . Arena Massage in Silom Plaza on SilomRd is good. Bottom line is how you feel about the massage parlor is based on the Boy you choose. Suggest you read www.dreadedned.com Restaurants I find change too much , I would not be comfortable reccommending any particular one. For something light however Dicks Cafe on the Main Boy Bar street in BKK is excellent. In Bkk make sure you see Jim Thompson House and of course the Palace and the Floating Market. Tartawan will have many suggestions I am sure. Antiques and jewelry, OZ is the person to ask. Quote
TotallyOz Posted July 26, 2007 Posted July 26, 2007 Sorry guys just caught onto this thread. I have been with family helping out a bit. You will love Pattaya. I think they have the hottest guys in Thailand. But, if muscle is your thing, Bangkok is definitely the place to be. Firecat gives great advice and all he says is true. Both hotels are very easy to get guys into and are very clean. You are in the middle of the action. In Bangkok, go to Dream boys when it opens as they have many of the sexiest boys there and they are often gone soon. They have a show as well but I go for the boys and would not miss out on getting there first to see the boys that I want for the night. B and N is my favorite massage parlor. I love it there. I suggest you also post some questions on gaythailand.com message board as many that read and post there live in Thailand and can give you up to date information. I find BoyzBoyzBoyz in Pattaya the place for muscle and they are great there. I have offed a few dozen and they are always amazing. Drinks in Pattaya are 100 baht. In Bangkok 200 baht. Tawan in Bangkok is 240 baht. Not a lot of money, but if like me you go to many bars in one night, you will spend much more in BKK. You MUST go to the Floating Market one day. Eat at Siam Paragon a few times. Go to the Palace and a few of the temples. Try a river cruise for lunch or dinner. Hero is a good massage parlor as well. I know you hear horrible things about Sunnee Plaza but you do need to walk over one night and give it a try. Why? It is more like a gay village than the other areas. Get there early, eat at Clubber Restaurant around 7 and watch the boys trickle into work. It is fun to watch and see. You do need to be sure to check the IDs in the bars around that area. Jim Jimmy James is the best and Kaos is not far behind. They have a jack off show at Kaos each night. In Bangkok, find a post I made on GayThailand about the park scene. I found some very hot boys in the park if you like to cruise around. Also, there is another area outside of the gay area, about 20 min by taxi that has one street of small gay bars. Most of those guys are college students in the area and are cheaper and more fresh than those in Suriwong. Lastly, in Pattaya, just go to the mall and smile at any boy you want to take back to your place. They are all working and you will have no problem seeing any of them. Go to the forums on wws.gaythailand.com and read the posts about the bars. It has more information about Pattaya there. Also, www.pgreport.com has great current events that are fun. www.dreadedned.com has good stuff. Let me know if any specific questions. I will help out as much as I can! Oz Quote
Guest epigonos Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 Hey Oz thanks so very much for the great information. Yeah I am a muscle freak!!! TotallyOz Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 Hey Oz thanks so very much for the great information. Yeah I am a muscle freak!!! My second favorite thing to do is SHOP particuilarly for jewlery, small antiques and contemporary etchings. Do you have any ideas as to where I might look for these items? Down by the river, there is an art center. I think they call it River walk but not sure. It is by where the boats leave at and a large hotel, I think a Sheraton. They have an amazing gallery of antiques and I have bought several dozen ancient Buddha's and other antiques from there. They also have some regular art galleries. I found a 800 year old Laos Buddha for less than an weekend with most escorts. Do a search on GayThailand for art gallery and you may find some of my posts that tell the exact directions. For Jewelry, there are several World Stores and one in Pattaya. Take a look there. If you went to Chiang Mai, you would see some amazing silver and gold and could have them hand make your own design very cheap. For original art in Pattaya, try Liam's Gallery. They have a website and they have really nice stuff. Also, on the way to the beach, there is only one road, I have found some of the painting stores there that I was able to buy for a great price and sell in USA for 100 times that. All over Pattaya they have art stores but most are copies. Some amazing copies. My favorite artist works inside the Marriot hotel lobby. If you have any black and whites, you want done, he is amazing. In JJ Market, the big weekend market, there is an entire area for artists. Sometimes, not all the time, you will find a great new artist there and some great finds. In either case, you MUST go to this market. It is amazing and wild. A mile or so of small stores with everything in the world and all very cheap. It is at the end of one of the trains and easy on and off. Jakarta Market or JJ Market. Ask your hotel guy and he will tell you how to get there. Firecat is really the art expert and can jump here as he really taught me what I know in Thailand on my first trip. Well, not everything. I knew the bar scene before I met up with him but he showed me the nice artists and galleries. Quote
