February 16, 200719 yr I know there was some talk on one of the forums about the book "The King Never Smiles". I did not read those posts, but have just finished reading the book. What I think though is that the book explains much of what is currently going on in Thailand now. The book was written before the current coup took place . But I gained a better understanding of a sufficiency economy, Village Scouts, and of some of the main players in today's government. I was amazed how the book explains in part what may really be behind the current coup.
