Post-escorting careers

Recommended Posts

I have been wondering what careers would be best for retiring escorts. My initial thought is that a real estate agent probably comes closest to the mark? Any other ideas or actual experiences to report from clients or escorts alike would be interesting to hear...

Don't forget that there are escorts out there who are college-educated (or further) and wouldn't have any trouble acclimating back into a traditional workforce.

I've seen several escorts go on to become quite successful in real estate, whether it be showing it or flipping it. One in particular who lives in Southern Florida is making more money on property than he ever did as an escort.

It's not unheard of to see a former escort working in some fashion for a past client. It can work out well, but it's not something i'd recommend.

I've seen this work. Requires a sane & stable client. Something which (speaking as a client of course) is not always a given.

Hopefully it is something that they have a true passion for. At the end of the day it shouldn't be about how much money one is bringing home but how much they enjoy what they are doing. I'd rather have a low paying job that I enjoy rather then a high paying one that I hate. I know call me crazy but my happiness is more valuable then a job that stresses me out and hate. Other then a good romp my other enjoyment is coffee. The smell, buzz, taste, hot topics and romance are what I love about it. My goal is to get my shit together and have my own shop opened by the middle of next year.

Hugs,

Greg

Only you hold yourself back. From my knowledge of your background and love for the business I'd think you're own shop can be a smashing success in time.

Go for your passion.

During the course of my hiring trends I have found that many escorts are just doing this for a season as they have goals they need to accomplish and the cash flow as well as the flexible schedule works well for them. To limit the escorts to smaller careers I think is wrong, some have become doctors, lawyers, and even CEO's. I know several females who used to escort and now they own large companies and are doing very well for themselves.

I would reccomend that when as escort retires he go into a field that engages him and one that will afford him the opportunity to advance and be a great success. To do that it must be something one enjoys.

Point in case, one of my junior partners used to escort. However, I never hired him. I just found out of that past career in a late night conversation.

I like the subject you selected however I don't feel one size fits all. Suggesting that they become real estate agents is like saying all former NFL players should be car salesmen.

The majority of escorts we know and/or hire do not work as full time companions. Most tend to use escorting to supplement their income not as the main source. Naturally there are exceptions to this such as Scott, Anton, Ben and others.

For those who truly escort as a full time business their post escort career choices should reflect their experiences, education and interests. I'm certain that some will be quite successful while others will struggle with their newfound income stream. Just like any segment of society.

Thanks for the words of encouragement Comment. There is much homework to be done between now and March, my target date to have all papers signed and started on the build out for the shop. But I am very lucky to know a few people in banking, law and some great artists. I know that it'll be hard work and a few more gray hairs gained from what will come but hopefully the classes I am taking at Coffee Fest out in Chicago next month will help me avoid some of the pot holes that might come my way :D I've been doing coffee now for about 10 years and well why do what I love and line someone else's pockets?

Hugs,

Greg
