Guest ScottAdler Posted February 4, 2007 Posted February 4, 2007 I'm surprised nobody has bothered to post this picture that looks like it was taken from the same set. The picture is from his reviews at Daddy's http://www.daddysreviews.com/images/harlow...folk_061406.jpg
Guest twinklover Posted February 4, 2007 Posted February 4, 2007 Thank you, Scott. It's definitely, "Harlow", but what does it mean? Does "Harlow" really exist? Was he there? Or is it just someone using "Harlow's" pictures? The news story simply says this about "Harlow": "Kocis, 44, had e-mailed an associate with photographs of the unidentified man, stating that he was meeting the man at 7 p.m. at his home. The unidentified man was to be a model for Kocis’ company, Cobra Video....The burned body of Kocis was found by firefighters after they responded to a fire at his home at 60 Midland Drive at about 8:30 p.m. on Jan. 24, 90 minutes after he was scheduled to meet the unidentified man." I'm trying to be nice tonight and really do not wish to get started on Michael Lucas. Let me just say that his porn scene with Richie Fine is unforgiveable. I may not have stabbed him 28 times and burned his house down if I saw that scene live and then pleaded justifiable homicide. I hope my discipline would stop me, even though my emotions were and are enraged.
Guest comment Posted February 4, 2007 Posted February 4, 2007 From his bio on the site listed in his escort profile: "Hi guys! I am Harlow, I guess you can call me an all American boy next door bad boy. I am a guy that can be seen at church with you, then pounding you wildly all night long" - Harlow
Guest eastburbguy Posted February 4, 2007 Posted February 4, 2007 Of course it's also noteworthy that the operation with which "Harlow" is associated produces videos which at some level compete with Cobra. Interesting twist. ;-)
Guest euroskater21 Posted February 4, 2007 Posted February 4, 2007 I wouldn't equate the quality of video output from Boirus with Cobra. I made the error of subscrbing to their website for a month - terrible quality material, video feed sucked and customer service was non existent. Biggest waste of cash.
Guest eastburbguy Posted February 5, 2007 Posted February 5, 2007 I quite agree about the relative quality of the two productions. That's why I said, "at some level." :* Actually, I'm far more interested to learn whether it's just a coincidence that "Harlow" figures into this some way. }(
Guest Riptide Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 As of last night, the police have still not identified the person of interest of whom they are looking for and published a picture of last week. Now, there is very strong suggestion circulating the internet that police officials are now preparing to subpoena client information about those clients who have submitted reviews on Harlow from Daddy's review site in an attempt to find information about him and a potential location for him. These clients are NOT suspects, just people with potential information. One source of these suggestions is a retired senior law enforcement official who stated that these are routine fact finding activities. This is VERY disturbing, but not at all surprising when you're in an investigation like this. QUESTION: How safe is client information here at MER, in regards to those who have submitted reviews from collection by the police? Is it maintained in a data base or deleted after the review published. Are emails with IP addresses maintained as part of the review and record? I know Daddy even requires a phone number to submit a review which is very easily reversed into a name and address of the client. This could possibly be very embarrassing and potentially harmful to a past client should his information be made part of an investigation like this.
Members Lucky Posted February 6, 2007 Members Posted February 6, 2007 Hopefully the police are working diilgently to find the killer. The most effective investigative techniques would not look first to long-ago encounters of the kind described in his reviews, but would look for more recent contacts, or situations where the reviewer clearly knew the suspect well. So, theoretically, riptide could be right, but practically speaking, there is little risk to previous clients. The reality is that many clients do not want to be exposed as such but there is a greater good to be accomplished here so their interests would have to go by the wayside. My guess is that any police investigation would be discreet as they are looking for information, not exposure. Personally, I would be glad to help if an escort I had hired turned out to be a murderer. Unless, of course, if he had murdered me, then I would hope that you guys would help!
Guest Riptide Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 > The most effective investigative techniques would not >look first to long-ago encounters of the kind described in his >reviews, but would look for more recent contacts, there is little risk to >previous clients. That might be true if these WERE long ago contacts Lucky, but they were not. The last two reviews for Harlow were just posted on 1-29-07 (from a December encounter) and the third posted on 12-27-06. Not really too long ago to be irrevelant, if that's the route authorities are going.
Guest Barry Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 >Now, there is very strong suggestion circulating the internet Where?
Guest Riptide Posted February 7, 2007 Posted February 7, 2007 If you've been following this very sick and twisted relationship between Brent Corrigan and cobra owner Bryan Kocis, and didn't think it could any more bizzare, you would have been wrong. Yikes!!! http://www.gaypornblog.com/archives/2007/0...o_own.html#more http://www.citizensvoice.com/site/news.cfm...id=455154&rfi=6
Guest twinklover Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 Thanks to our input, investigators have matched the picture to the escort "Harlow." The investigators are apparently looking at sites like MER and Atkol where the Harlow match was discovered and reported. http://www.timesleader.com/mld/timesleader/news/16620030.htm
Guest twinklover Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 With the help of MER and similar sites, investigators found the posted pic matched the escort "Harlow." Investigators have now contacted "Harlow. "Harlow" denies ever meeting Kocis. He further denies being "Drake", the model Kocis was alleged to meet shortly before his death. This makes sense to me. The conncection to "Harlow" was very strange. "Harlow" allegedly has an airtight alibi to prove it wasn't him. He was with a client, of course, for a 3-hour session in another city. It would be very easy for someone ("Drake") to steal Harlow's well-circulated pics and put them in an email to Kocis (if that's what happened here). http://www.timesleader.com/mld/timesleader...ws/16645198.htm
Members Lucky Posted February 8, 2007 Members Posted February 8, 2007 Thanks for the info, tl. I guess it is a reminder to us not to jump to conclusions since these pix do get used by others.
Guest ScottAdler Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 >"Harlow" allegedly has an airtight alibi to prove it >wasn't him. Wow ... now that client has earned enough frequent flyer miles for a couple free trips I'm sure. Talk about loyalty.
Guest twinklover Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 http://www.timesleader.com/mld/timesleader/news/16650141.htm Here's the latest. 19yo escort! That's obviously false or another issue, given how long we've seen "Harlow" post on escort sites. P.S. Riptide and SA, I have a personal request and I don't mean nothing by it. I obviously like some things about both of you or I wouldn't bother with this personal plea. Let's put aside all of our personal differences on this thread. Please focus your personal, research, analytical and other skills on this murder mystery. Because I'm fucking confused, totally confused. I would like you young, smart, strong, vibrant and resilient gay men (whom I respect even if I don't often say it) to step up and find the truth, even if all you do is speculate about it.
Guest twinklover Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 But "Harlow" admits to knowing Btrett Corrigan. Quote: "He is familiar with Cobra Video movies, and admitted to meeting Sean Lockhart, an actor who appeared in several of Cobra’s films, during a recent adult film convention in Las Vegas. 'Nothing really came out if it,' Harlow said about his discussions with Lockhart." Fuck. I'm sure the investigators will verify Harlow's escort engagement other than through the word of "Mark", the Norfolk agency owner. If "Harlow" is being truthful about this, other than obviously lying about his age, it will be useful to indicate that "Harlow" actually exists and really does escort--a question that has bedevilled us for years. Law Enforcement (if you're following this): What does Sean Lockhart (or Grant Roy) have to say about the "Harlow" connection? It's very strange that "Harlow" admits to even meeting Sean Lockhart. "Nothing really came out if it." What does that mean? Please verify the "Harlow" alibi not just through the words of the agency owner. Clear "Harlow" if he is in fact apparently innocent. How did law enforcement get that picture of "Harlow"? Let us know the exact circumstances, email or otherwise. We may be able to help you. And what, if anything, does Sean Lockhart know about the name "Drake"? I've never heard that name. I'm an old faggot who follows the porn and escort world very closely. How did the name "Drake" become associated with the picture of the gay male escort "Harlow"? Law enforcement and news reporters: You may think whatever you wish about us. You don't want to get me started about you if your life is put under a microscope. We all have our problems and yet we manage to co-exist as Americans. The coverage on the Times Leader has been fair and illuminating. The reporters deserve gold stars for their treatment of this story. But law enforcement should stop the bullshit. Just tell us and the news reporters what you really know and solve this gruesome murder, sooner rather than later.
Guest Conway Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 It doesn't sound, from reading the newspaper article, that Harlow has said anythng to investigators. For some reason, he and his attorney, know of the allegations made and have chosen to talk to a newspaper reporter rather than the Pennsylvania authorities investigating the case. While certainly, the "stolen photo" argument makes for a defense that someone is trying to frame Harlow. His behavior isn't indicative of what someone who wishes to clear himself from a serious criminal charge would do. If I was implicated as a person of interest in this murder I didn't commit, and my picture was published by a newspaper as a person of interest, I'd be meeting with investigators and my attorney the next day to clear my name. It seems that Harlow and his pimp are more concerned about the publicity that this will generate than about helping to solve a terrible crime. or maybe in trying the case in the press versus in a court of law.
Guest eastburbguy Posted February 9, 2007 Posted February 9, 2007 < "Drake"? I've never heard that name. I'm an old faggot who follows the porn and escort world very closely. How did the name "Drake" become associated with the picture of the gay male escort "Harlow"? Help me out with some memory here regarding a "Drake." There was a Drake who advertised at least on M4RN for some time and I could swear his home base was in or around VA, NC, etc. Among other things, his profile said he was/is part Native American. The guy had REALLY sexy pics. }(
Members TampaYankee Posted February 9, 2007 Members Posted February 9, 2007 The head looks definitely 'shopped' in this photo.
Members KYTOP Posted February 9, 2007 Members Posted February 9, 2007 >While certainly, the "stolen photo" argument makes >for a defense that someone is trying to frame Harlow. Or just using a hot picture to get Kocis' attention and an appointment with him. Most of us that have hired very many escorts at al,l has had the fake picture thing used on us. But if Kocis was expecting Harlow, due to the picture, and Harlow was not the one at the door. He still let whoever in. I find it interesting that he met Corrigan and friend a few days before his picture is used for someone to meet Kocis. No disrespect to the victim, but this real life murder mystery is the perfect fodder for a movie.
Members TampaYankee Posted February 10, 2007 Members Posted February 10, 2007 Interesting how much interest this garnered here and over at Atkol.
Guest twinklover Posted February 11, 2007 Posted February 11, 2007 Here's the latest news. http://www.timesleader.com/mld/timesleader/news/16659549.htm The police have still not interviewed "Harlow". "Harlow" has admitted that it's him in the photo released by law enforcement.
Guest Riptide Posted February 11, 2007 Posted February 11, 2007 >Here's the latest news. >http://www.timesleader.com/mld/timesleader/news/16659549.htm > >The police have still not interviewed "Harlow". >"Harlow" has admitted that it's him in the photo >released by law enforcement. Not only have they not interviewed Harlow, TL, they have not even interviewed Brent or his boyfriend Grant in this matter to date. One has to ask oneself; if you can't spend the money to travel a thousand miles, give or take, which the Dallas Pa. PD Dept said they won't do, due to cost responsibilities, to interview their person of interest, until they are convienced that the person who called them and identified himself as Harlow, who has lawyered up, is really Harlow, then by default, they are obviously just sitting flat and tight on their fat Pennsylvania donut cop sized asses until the real killer comes into them and surrenders himself...Give me a fucking break! If it wasn't Harlow who contacted them to state his horror and denial as being identified and being potentially connected to this crime, coupled with the, OMG, much horrified client that must now out himself to authorities to collaborate his escorts alibi over this; who in the name of Anna Nicole's baby girl could it possibly be? Andy and Barney with all their limited resources in Mayberry would have at the least, chartered a crop duster bi-wing plane built for bo-weavel extraction in the fields, from Gomar's filling station and interviewed the person(s) of interest, not to mention the MAIN couple of interest in this killing. This is just sad beyond belief. If the killer left Bryan's house by taking his secondary vehicle, a white colored SUV, then one might want to look at how and when the killer got to Bryan's house to begin with. Bryan's home was certainly not located in an area supported with rapid transit which you would equate with New York, Chicago or Philadelphia. So how did the killer get to Bryans house? Obviously he did not drive there. No abandoned vehicles have been recovered in the area. Has the police dept considered looking into taxi, limo or other private means of conveyance records for a suspect? Anyway, since Bryan was probably not the most welcome neighbor anyone in this township would have wanted as a neighbor, my money, at this point, is on the PD saving public funds in lieu of going after this killer as if it were one of their better established citizens.....I hope they prove me wrong. They have a thousand reasons in their office to do so.....
