It was hard for me then and still is even today >to believe that people lie. sometimes they just flat out lie. I had a similar story about my only no-show review... well maybe the obverse side of the coin. After I wrote my no show the escort replied by calling me a liar in several ways during a rant in 3 paragraphs or so. He was young though and screwed up when he emailed me privately to rub in how he decimated my review and neutralized my charges which he essentially admited. Of course, I forwarded a copy to HooBoy who didn't know me from Adam. The next day one of those early 'reliable reviewer' icons went up on my 3 or so reviews including the no show. > >Please consider at least a list of reported no shows. I hear you as I heard others above. There will be some broadening of the policy for accepting no shows when I can get it implemented. My current thinking: Complaints from members with a track record will be posted. Complaints from members without a track record will be filed for future reference. If an escort receives multiple complaints of that nature then those complaints would be posted. Quote

Guest CTDick Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 I just submitted a no-show review before going to the forums. It is my first review on this site but I have submitted dozens of reviews on the old Hoo site. By definitions above, I guess this review is unpostable. Here is what happended: I found the escort on this site. He does not have a "dedicated professional phone line for what is a very part time job for me" so we communicated by email. On Tuesday we agreed to 9pm Thursday at the Best Western in Asheville, NC. He was to call me that evening for a room number. I showered and sat by my cell phone. Nothing happened. He has yet to reply to my email. IMHO, potential hirers want to know this about an escort. I know I would. As to filtering out maliciousness, I don't have an answer that has not been discussed above. It is a tough one. Dick Quote

As you have read, our policy on no shows has been undergoing evolution in the past several days. You definitely have a track record and your no show will be 'postable'. However, I have not yet established the mechanism for archiving the no shows. I am reluctant to embed them in the regular review database. However, that is the easiest way to record them. Since we have to live with this for the future I want to give it a little thought before we pour concrete. Thanks again. TY Quote

Guest Riptide Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 >I have grown weary of writing the same responses over and >over to contributors sending inadequate reviews. In response >the following policy will be posted for guidance. A page link >will be established. If you wish to comment then please do so. >I promise to read but no promises about incorporating >suggestions. It seems to me, that, this policy being posted exclusively here in the forums, as apposed to the escort review area (submit review) of the site, is potentially missing the majority of reviewers and main target audience intended, the reviewer. Unless a potential (or established) reviewer here visits the forum area of the site, they would not even be aware of these guidelines. My suggestion would be to have these policies and guidelines incorporated into, and as part of, the submit escort review page, after you have seleted the appropriate region for the escort. It's kinda like a club posting recreational drug policies and warnings, but doing it two blocks away at the nearest intersection and expecting customers to be up to speed. (no pun intended) Quote
Members TampaYankee Posted February 23, 2007 Author Members Posted February 23, 2007 Your point is well taken and hasn't been lost on me. It has been in the queue to be placed as a separate site link with reference on the Submit Page. Until then I use this link to refer contributors to for information. Quote
