New Orleans on New Years Eve?

I have quite a few air club miles and no specific plans yet for New Years so I was wondering if NOLA could be an option. I have not returned to New Orleans since the Katrina disaster.

It would be interesting to find out what others who have visited recently think of starting '07 in this one time fun get-away destination?

Also any suggestions on strip clubs or other decadent fun spots to haunt should I make the trip?

Thank you for pointing me to that thread. How sad it must be for the locals to see such a one time vivid city be destroyed. I'll now look elsewhere for New Years Eve entertainment. Should anyone have suggestions please post them.
