Members KYTOP Posted November 11, 2006 Members Posted November 11, 2006 That was so cool, thanks for sharing. I especially liked how all the kids sang the "two fathers" part of the chorus. Quote

Guest Anton Posted November 14, 2006 Posted November 14, 2006 Since the song was performed in a Dutch television program, I thought I'd try to find some more background information about it (I thought that some would care to know). The song was performed in the television program "Kinderen voor kinderen" (= Children for children). It's a program where children perform for an audience of children. They usually sing about topics that concern children. Sometimes they also raise money for good purposes. The website of the program is www.kinderenvoorkinderen.nl . The song "Twee vaders" (Two fathers) was performed during the "Children for children 2006 Song contest". The songs from the contest are also found on a double CD that can be bought http://omroep.vara.nl/shop_detail.jsp?main...9&detail=281604 I did a search in the media archive of the broadcasting company to see if I could find the broadcast of the complete song contest, but couldn't find it. If you want an impression of the program, then you can watch their "2006 Concert" online: http://omroep.vara.nl/mediaarchief.jsp?maintopic=530 , but the song "Twee vaders" is not sung in that show. Best, Anton/Amsterdam. Quote
