I get at least 3 of those types of emails a week and am happy to say I've never fallen for them. As always, if it sounds too good to be true it probably is. Hugs, Greg Quote

Guest TNTTed Posted September 15, 2006 Posted September 15, 2006 Don't you want to share some of those follow-up phrases with us? I might be able to use some new superlatives for writing reviews. Quote

Guest TNTTed Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 "Nope, I won't, but you can always ask your wife if you run out of new ideas" Excuse me?? Considering the obvious levity of my comments, your remark seems not only inappropriate, but quite indiscrete. Quote

Guest Anton Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 Hi Steven (and all other escorts), From the style of the email I often get a sense when it's a scam. Nevertheless I stay polite and I write back: [tt]Hello XX, Thank you for your email. What you propose sounds very nice and the days you mention are still free in my agenda. How do you want to pay? Please know that I only accept cash. Warmest regards, Anton.[/tt] After such an email I never had a response back ... Lol, but I also know a colleague who has a different style. He writes back: [tt]So yo became a fraud ... ... and your dignity sunk really deep. Aren't you ashamed of yourself? [/tt] In his case too, it always became very quiet after such an email ... Best, Anton/Amsterdam. Quote
