Guest davidjewel Posted January 28, 2007 Posted January 28, 2007 First of all I want to thank everyone who participated in my last thread about hotel accomodations in Sunnee Plaza. I winded up staying at Howards, and with the exception of having the hardest bed in Thailand, I enjoyed my stay. I have a friend in Pattaya who's fallen on hard times and I want to help him out. I'm not sure if there's a Western Union in Pattaya or not, but I do remember seeing a post from Niddy's Nook about offerring this service. I'm aware that Niddy's is sold, but do they still offer this service, where is it now located, and what is the cost? Any information from American Teacher, Niddy, or anyone else would be appreciated. Thanks! Quote

Thanks! Niddy told me last week that the shop service is still is in place 5000 baht for little cost, but he is moving house at present and this might cause some delay. Western Union is in operation all over Pattaya if your need is urgent. Just send to your friend 'in Pattaya' make sure name is exactly as his ID card, even quote his ID number as ref if not sure, he goes to any office with the sales code number you will have to phone or email to him after you deposit the cash. Collection in a couple of hours most worldwide. One of the fastest and cheapest services worldwide. Quote
Guest alaan Posted January 28, 2007 Posted January 28, 2007 I'm sure someone from Niddys will reply to give you the most up to date information, but I will pass on the contact info I have and my experience of using it. Just go to their webste www.niddysnook.com and click into the "online shop" and choose the Bt5000 gift window. I used it for my one and only time of sending money to Thailand for a Christmas gift to a Thai friend. You can only give multiples of Bt5000 which is the amount I sent. It cost me Quote
