Members marcanthony Posted August 4, 2006 Members Posted August 4, 2006 Many people don't read the HOTSPOTS forum, so you may not be familiar with the club scene in Montreal (which is fantastic). But it's more the beauty and attitude of the French Canadian boys that gets me going back again and again and again. Here's my latest for instance... Was eating two nights ago at 3 AM after the closing of Unity and saw a GORGEOUS 6'2" blond angel with a perfect face, a solid build, and floppy gorgeous hair (my weakness) eating at the table next to us with 3 other guys. So I start a conversation and make small talk with them and find out they are waiters at a restaurant in the village. Next night, I go to eat at that restaurant, and chat with my beautiful waiter... get to know him better. I invite him to Unity after his work shift. He shows up. we spend a great evening together. He is coming again tomorrow. (BTW... he is named Vincent, and he's about the 7th incredibly hot vincent that I have befriended in the past year in Montreal). There might be a place in the world that's better than this... but I haven't found it yet! Quote
Members TampaYankee Posted August 6, 2006 Members Posted August 6, 2006 Marc, Happy to see that you are bearing up under the hardship. Only a trooper like you keeps a stiff... ummm, upper lip in the face of so much adversity. }( Now two days later, what is the current Vincent count? ... and when are you and Francois to be married? AdamSmith Posted August 6, 2006 Posted August 6, 2006 For us who aren't there, your reports are both treat and torture. Like laying a meal just outside the cell door of a starving prisoner. Keep 'em coming! Quote
Members marcanthony Posted August 6, 2006 Author Members Posted August 6, 2006 >Now two days later, what is the current Vincent count? ... and >when are you and Francois to be married? It's funny you asked, because the two questions are inter-related. Actually there were 5 Vincents around tonight. But the best thing of all is that one that stole my heart last year and I have never gotten over it was one of them. He was working at a summer camp, and caught the bus back for the weekend just to be in the city the last weekend I am in Montreal. So unfortunately, the arrival of Vincent #1 (and I mean he is #1) will put a hold on plans to marry Francois. You see... Canada is enlightened enough to allow gay marriage, but as far as I know, they don't allow multiple ones! Quote
Members marcanthony Posted August 6, 2006 Author Members Posted August 6, 2006 Adam: It really is quite a treat. Tonight was one of the best nights I have ever spent here... and that says a lot. Just when you think it can't get better... it does. Quote

I will say that some of the most beautiful boys walking the streets and the malls are in Montreal. I had a nice visit there. It was also nice to finally meet Trey Thurston. Trey was with a client and I met him in a go-go bar. He is without a doubt one of the nicest guys I have met and a true class act. I can understand the praise that Marc and others have given to this guy. I am a cynic by nature and believe little of what I hear. However, this guy won me over faster than any escort has. He has a wonderful smile and is oozing personality and charm. While I did not get to see what was under the clothss, EVERYTHING I saw outside of them was engaging! I was also able to meet some of Marc's Vincent's. Talk about stepping out of a magazine. I can't wait to hear about the best night ever! Oz Quote

The longer you're around Trey, the better it gets. Definitely not one of those you wear through in a hurry. In the Top 5 Twink thread here, I called him possibly the best there is at what he does. What I was thinking was the role of courtesan, in its best sense. And what's under the clothes -- and what he does with it -- is certainly the match of everything else about him! Quote
AdamSmith Posted August 6, 2006 Posted August 6, 2006 >the arrival of Vincent #1 (and I >mean he is #1) will put a hold on plans to marry Francois. The Overinvestment Tango -- ain't it grand? In my contortions over Andre I found a muse in the poet Blake: "Those who restrain their desires, do so because theirs is weak enough to be restrained." "Prudence is a rich, ugly, old maid courted by incapacity." And above all: "The road of excess leads to the palace of wisdom." Quote

The best night ever was simply because of something I know you understand quite well. It's when someone extremely special to your heart does something that touches your heart. My favorite boy in all of Montreal made a 3 hour bus journey back to the city from his summer job in the country after switching days off to get free just to suprise me at Unity. It really was that simple. guess I am a simple guy. But I know you know... the best things in life can really be that basic. Quote

Damn!! Mr Blake must have met Mr Anthony because he captured him so succintly. Quote
Guest twinklover Posted August 6, 2006 Posted August 6, 2006 It has been a fabulous week-plus in Montreal and a pleasure to meet some of the posters here. It is not simply the beautiful boys but the strong bohemian spirit that will draw me back to Montreal. I am the client who brought Trey Thurston. This trip has reinforced my belief that he is one of the best young escorts in the world. But I also regard him as a friend, and that's why I brought him. He's just a happy, sweet, reliable person and so easy and fun to be with. I owe my association with Trey to Marc. Marc posted comments in the Hooboy message center about Trey before a formal review and that's when I called Trey. This must have been two years ago. So I say thank you, Marc, for your comments, as well as your great hospitality and company to all during this trip. Some of the best things in life are indeed simple, and your heads-up about Trey made a difference in my life. Quote

TL: It was great to meet you too. I am glad you had a great time and we all thank you immensely for bringing up Trey and making a fantastic party even BETTER! Hope our paths cross again... and since we both like gorgeous boys and happening dance clubs.. I think that's likely to happen! Quote
