Guest mbarz Posted June 18, 2006 Posted June 18, 2006 Some of us actually enjoyed each other and communicated through email, I think BoN is just trying to make it easier for everyone. It wasn't always about hating BN or who could be the biggest cunt there were some good times too. If you don't want to join, don't, no one is holding a gun to your head. Quote
Guest Conway Posted June 18, 2006 Posted June 18, 2006 "It wasn't always about hating BN or who could be the biggest cunt there..." I must have missed that eight seconds of its existence. Quote
Members flguy Posted June 18, 2006 Members Posted June 18, 2006 Conway, Most likely 8 seconds is being extremely generous. The yahoo group will become the same cesspool that the EZboard group was. All three or four active members living in harmony. Quote
Guest mbarz Posted June 19, 2006 Posted June 19, 2006 You know Conway, I'm doing my best to ignore you and abide by the rules of this message center, but you're pushing it. We get it, you didn't like ES or the posters there, it's over, move the fuck on. No one is asking or forcing you or anyone else to join BoN's yahoo group, he didn't do for you, if your life is so boring that you have nothing else to do but worry about who joins what yahoo group then you're even sorrier than I thought. You can keep trying, but you're not going to get me to stop posting here. Last I read, you weren't appointed moderator. Quote
Guest Conway Posted June 19, 2006 Posted June 19, 2006 Acxcording to the announcement by you and BN, Escortspeak has been revived. So, why do you say it is over? Personally, i'm not sure how one can harbor such resentment to a person that he has never met as you exhibit toward me in this thread. I've never met you much less done you any harm. I find it kind of wierd and pathetic that you're obsessed with me to the point of now making vague threats.. Quote
Guest Conway Posted June 19, 2006 Posted June 19, 2006 Because you and BON posted it on a message board that he participates in? Quote
Guest beemerboy Posted June 19, 2006 Posted June 19, 2006 mbarz.....why waste your time communicating with hateful bitter johns? all they care about is insulting people, and what poor kid they can get to sell them some dick. with everypost they make...they show what kind of evil, envious people they are. take care bud............ Guest mbarz Posted June 19, 2006 Posted June 19, 2006 >Acxcording to the announcement by you and BN, Escortspeak has >been revived. So, why do you say it is over? What? I didn't make an announcement, are you confused again? >Personally, i'm not sure how one can harbor such resentment to >a person that he has never met as you exhibit toward me in >this thread. I've never met you much less done you any harm. I would have to think of you as a person before I could resent you and I don't see that happening. > I find it kind of wierd and pathetic that you're obsessed >with me to the point of now making vague threats.. I think I said I was ignoring you. Quote
Guest BewareofNick Posted June 19, 2006 Posted June 19, 2006 I suppose it makes as much sense as continuing to harbor a grudge against a group of posters and disparaging them solely because you don't like them. Is it not time to move on, Mr. Lawyer? Quote
Members TampaYankee Posted June 19, 2006 Members Posted June 19, 2006 >You know Conway, I'm doing my best to ignore you and abide by >the rules of this message center... And it is much appreciated. Thanks for keeping it on an appropriate level and not rising to provocative remarks. > We get it, you didn't like ES or the posters there, it's over, >move the fuck on. > >No one is asking or forcing you or anyone else to join BoN's >yahoo group... I agree with both sentiments. Quote

Members TampaYankee Posted June 19, 2006 Members Posted June 19, 2006 You are encouraged to review the the Message Center Policy. You are on the edge. Quote
Guest beemerboy Posted June 19, 2006 Posted June 19, 2006 why of course i am,would'nt expect anything different than selective criticisim of some and not of others. shame shame.................. Quote
Guest FourAces Posted June 19, 2006 Posted June 19, 2006 Hey too all my escortspeak friends I think John Lennon (yes one of my Idols) put it best. "The dream is over What can I say? the Dream is Over Yesterday I was the Dreamweaver But now I'm reborn and so dear friends you'll just have to carry on The Dream is over" It was a dream I had, I decided to put an end to the dream to see people argue about it or a yahoo group or anything related to it is really all history at this point. Deej used to say " if you don't like it start your own message center" ... I did. You guys can too. But come on it really was nothing more than an ezboard forum that gave us all an outlet for a few months. I like what TY and crew are doing here. I think they are on the right path. Lets support them not make it harder for them to build the site by fighting with each other and taking up their time moderating this forum. The goal was (well my goal was, a huge fuck you to daddy and most of his crew (barry was one of the exceptions). I think we all shook things up enough. Deej no longer goes around telling people to start their own message center, as he didn't like the outcome of ES thanks to BoN, LOL. And thanks to pure crazy people like CHO CHO everyone is on edge over at HBs site. I think more than any of us really anticipated we made our voices heard and together we did create change, we weren't afraid to attack the issues that brought us together ... but again it is over. I guess all I am rambling about it lets not bring the fight over here, this isn't our playground. Peace and Love. Quote
Members marcanthony Posted June 19, 2006 Members Posted June 19, 2006 Well with every ending, there is a new beginning... I always say. And you know what they say (especially in SPAMALOT)? What do they say, sire? Always look at the birght side of life.... So in this thread, I noticed the following things... 1) It's the first on MER to hit 1000 views. A landmark event for a budding message center. I hope with the additional contributions of new members it grows to be vibrant and interesting. 2) In spite of some back and forth provocation, a very touchy, sensitive, and emotional subject did NOT spin out of control. (Thanks especially mbarz for being especially reasonable and mature I thought). There's even an extension of an olive branch by aces, who is a principal in the previous feud. 3) A new yahoo group was created for those who are interested in continuing on what they once had. And that's a good thing as well. I posted many days and many posts ago how I felt about the closing of ES and the migration of more active posting by some of those members. And I feel that it's all off to a very good start. There's been productive benefit to this site by their presence, and maybe they've gotten something out of it as well. I don't mean this post of mine to be any final word in this thread or anything like that... nor do I hope it necessarily ends this thread. I just saw the post counter go over 1K, and it waxed me philosophical... Spamalot style... "Always look at the bright side of death. Just before you draw your terminal breath. Life is quite absurd. And death's the final word. You should always face the curtain with a bow. Excuse me... Is that a shrubbery? Yes, it is. I'm throwing it out. The cat won't leave it alone! So always look on the bright side of LIFE! " :7 Quote
Guest BewareofNick Posted June 20, 2006 Posted June 20, 2006 4A, my favorite memories of escortspeak are when people with whom I had previously feuded, like Doug69, came to my defense both on EscortSpeak and on M4M. Doug put deej in his place quite eloquently and wouldn't let deej get away with the revisionist history that he was trying to spin. deej caused The Great Meltdown and was the midwife to EscortSpeak. As for the new Yahoo! group. It is not a cesspool of any kind. The discussion has been lively and fun. Quote
Guest BewareofNick Posted June 20, 2006 Posted June 20, 2006 As usual, marcanthony, you have a way with words (and twinks). People say they don't gawk at car accidents, they don't like tabloids, but they can't help but look. Quote
