Guest StevenDraker Posted February 11, 2006 Posted February 11, 2006 I have the same problem with AOL - for some reason a certain number of my outgoing emails bounce back. This is not consistent - I think it has to do with how the person sets his AOL filters. I agree with Greg, that it can be annoying and I don't think he's being arrogant at all. Quote
Members TampaYankee Posted February 12, 2006 Members Posted February 12, 2006 If you get a '554 TRANSACTION FAILED' message in the bounce then it is not a user defined response. For some reason a small minority of my emails get through -- a very small minority. It seems without rhyme or reason. Quote
Guest Stephan Posted February 12, 2006 Posted February 12, 2006 I have used AOL for many years and I just don't like it. They should not be allowed to block links like that. It is just crazy. It might be easy to use or to chat with others, but other than that I never use it myself. I have an account and rarely use it. And because of this url block, It really does not help my feelings......... Stef http://www.steflacoste.com +33 870 449 763 ~ France +1 310 933 6213 ~ Usa Quote
