A record of 942 new COVID-19 cases were reported in Singapore as of noon on Saturday, the Ministry of Health (MOH) said in a media release. The "vast majority" of these are work permit holders living in foreign worker dormitories, it said. The vast majority of the new cases are work permit holders residing in foreign worker dormitories, the Ministry of Health (MOH) said in its preliminary release of figures. Fourteen cases are Singaporeans or permanent residents. Singapore is now in a "circuit breaker" period to stem the spread of COVID-19.
