Gaybutton Posted January 12, 2007 Share Posted January 12, 2007 Two stories of interest appear in the PATTAYA CITY NEWS: _____ Chonburi Gymnasium Evacuated as Suspicious Package is Neutralized by Bomb Squad A story now from our broadcast colleagues in Chonburi District, some 60kms from Pattaya, which demonstrates the high state of alert relating to the threat of terrorist activity around the Province and around Thailand. On Friday Morning, Police Colonel Chockchai from Chonburi Police Headquarters received information from staff at a Gymnasium in Chonburi District which suggested that an incendiary device had been placed outside the building. Bomb hoaxes are frequent, however every one is dealt with caution and the assumption is that any one of these hoaxes could be the real thing.
