Popular Post TotallyOz Posted September 7, 2019 Popular Post Posted September 7, 2019 I met up with a friend last night for some gallivanting around the city. As he is only in town for a few days and we have similar tastes, the bar choices were easy. We started at Screwboy and had a nice time. There were several cute guys there, not too many customers and no pressure at all to buy someone a drink. However, I did find a cute Cambodian I liked and had a drink with him. He was sweet and conversational. We then went over to Fresh Boys (I think that was the name. The 2nd Floor bar near Screwboys) and they had a plethora of cute guys. There were many that caught my attention and an old mamasan from Pattaya I knew so I had fun. We then went to Lucky Boys. There must have been 50 guys on stage and also some stunners. This place was popping with talent. My friend picked a few guys that he knew for drinks and I knew he was set for the night so I left. I would have had a guy that I wanted to meet for a drink for the mamasan from Screwboys told me to visit SuperA Boys and I did. I am glad I did. I had a great time. I had 5 guys over for a drink. The cost was 150 baht per drink so very reasonable. The boys were all 19 and obviously pretty new from their demeanor. They spoke no English and were from the local area. I enjoyed one especially. But, it was late so I tipped them all 500 baht as I enjoyed my time there and left. While waiting for my Grab, 4 of those boys jumped on motorbikes and left. I guess my tip was what they are looking for and they got it and moved on for the night. This told me that perhaps if I want to see one again, I'll go early and meet one before he disappears. I went into the area to meet a friend. I had a guy at my apartment for the weekend and would not have taken someone to my place while he was here. And, I hate the short stay rooms. Super A said they had a room upstairs but I do not like those places. GWMinUS 1 Quote

Stayed at one near JFK recently with an 8 hour or 12 hour rate. Worked great for me. But, for this, two hours would be more than sufficient. floridarob 1 Quote
TotallyOz Posted September 8, 2019 Author Posted September 8, 2019 I have another friend coming into town shortly so I hope to get back out soon and revisit every bar in the area. However, I think I'll start with Lucky Boys as there were so many on stage I could not see them all very well and I need to pick a seat closer to the action next time. I didn't try Tawan for a while. Any word on that recently? BL8gPt 1 Quote
williewillie Posted September 9, 2019 Posted September 9, 2019 I didn’t like the new Lucky Boys. Most of the seats were too far from the stage and I had difficulty seeing the boys. Other seats are below the stage and one would need to strain ones neck. Lucky Boys too big and badly set up. The curved sofas must be meant for large groups of Chinese. I thought of bringing opera glasses. TotallyOz 1 Quote
Popular Post reader Posted September 9, 2019 Popular Post Posted September 9, 2019 I was never seated in the high sofa seats in the rear so I can't comment on them but I believe, as you say, they were designed for groups. They also allow a degree of privacy that the ones closer to stage don't. If you want to be seated elsewhere, I'd let the mamasan know. It's a big place and seats turn over frequently. Overall, I think Lucky Boys utilizes its space better than the other bars. The sight lines are excellent and unobstructed for the most part. You have to put the stage somewhere and LB's is large and can accommodate a lot of talent. You do have to tilt your head up a bit if you're in the very front seats but I find the perspective they offer worth the effort. I think Freshboys offers good stage views although most are from the sides. Dreamboys is handicapped by the huge column directly in front of the stage. Hotmale offers pretty good views. vinapu, TotallyOz, Boy69 and 2 others 4 1 Quote

Great meeting up with you again on Friday Michael and was a really fun evening, felt like we gently 'ramped up' thru the night from Screwboys (still one of my favs) and your Khmer was VERY cute...to Freshboys 2 which had a lovely selection (lots of hot Thai, Khmer, Viet, Myanmar & Laos boys). But as you say the 'main event' was definitely Luckyboys which was just heaving with talent...sheer 'ranks' of hot boys on stage, really quite something to behold, think I was there for 45 mins (in total) that night and I still kept seeing boys popping up near the end that were catching my eye. I offed the 2nd Viet guy I called over for ST only after the 1st one of my 'regular' LT Viets gave me a green card (always best to check with the boss!)...actually he encouraged it as I was 'helping' his pal as he put it. When I came back into Patpong 2 later that night ended up at a funny little beer bar with 6 Viet waiters / barboys for an unexpected lock-in (but that's another story). Out of the 2.5 week trip I spent 7 days in BKK (4 at the front end and 3 at the back) and visited Luckyboys 6 of those nights and was never bored or disappointed, think we're all Lucky (excuse the pun) to have access to such a club. It does vary depending on where you sit so I do 'get' some of the other posters comments but once you've learnt the layout its ok imho plus just get there before show-time and you'll have more choice of good seats. I avoid sitting up in the 'gods' unless there's nothing else available or I know exactly who I'm in there looking for. Screwboys the following Saturday night was also busy but I got there later (after 10pm) so they had more guys working by then Will try and stick a 'Synopsis' of the trip up when I get time...I've probably bored Paul-SF, Colm-X & your good self to death already with my over-sexed (post offs) LINE ramblings already so apoligies...lol 1moRussian, 18past19, vinapu and 7 others 10 Quote

I was there two times during my 2 weeks trip I just returned from yesterday. Mostly older guys and as expected muscled but I noticed few new faces, one of them quite handsome , # 11 , Roy. Considering both visits resulted with offs, ST and LT , certainly it worked for me . Show at 10.45 , mostly the same like before , no ' special ' show but J/O competition still on. As always , my advice is go and see for yourself as we all are different ( I liked Lucky Boys but not even close to a degree expressed by few members above ) and this is good as keeps all kinds of boys in gainful employment. reader and TotallyOz 2 Quote
