Gay guys on Chaturbate: an observation

I hope I will be forgiven to post it here.  On a Thailand forum.  I sometimes look at Chaturbate. And the Latino guys from South America are as sexy as the Thai boys I know from Thailand. 

But there is one big difference. Their education level. When I chat via pm with them I often ask what they study in University. Not seldom I get answers like radiology, medicine, mathematics, etc. I must admit I had some prejudices about guys who show themselves at Chaturbate: lower class background, poor families. But more and more I get the idea that prejudice is totally wrong. 

Yet it is strange to comprehend for me that the next supreme Court Justice of Colombia or the next particle physics professor at the most prestigious university in Medellin in his student years showed himself on Chaturbate. But in the near future it's probably possible that these things can be said about people like that, and not only about the next employee of the month at McDonalds. 

This means one thing: you need to know at a young age if you ever want to run for office. Because if you want, then showing yourself on Chaturbate in your younger years is a bad idea. The videos viewers made of you can show up years later when the opposition candidate shows them in his campaign.  I wonder if these well off guys are aware of these risks.

I always say and will repeat here again : internet forgets nothing.

Those problems  may surface not only when somebody will be running for the office or will be person in position in business , academia, arts etc, it carries also potential of ruining of person's family life - imagine discovering what beloved father did when he was in university.

On another hand we may discover in future That society will move on and things carrying certain stigma now may be irrelevant in not so even distant future, many not so long ago closeted gays  are now proudly announcing ' this is my  husband".

The same may happen to people who are prostituting themselves to go through university. Quite possible that my father who always said ' prostitution is job like any other and at least job is not  dusty ' may turn out to be visionary.

We are leaving in a different era This days,the younger generation percipient sex completely different than we do they are much open and liberal than we used to be exposing themselves at Chaturbate neither  prostituting themselves to go through university isn't a big deal for them,they are aware that internet forgets nothing but it seems that it doesn't bother them too much.

But trump, with all his previous mishaps and blatant lie still gets to be president. So yeah while worrying about the future might help you to be calm and relax thinking u did the right thing, no one knows what the future will be, or even if you will be there, still alive or not. Those in chartubates, work there, even though they study in the U, because they need the money to pay for the U. For them, thats the only and perhaps quicker way to get money to make sure they can escape that kind of life in the near future. And i still believe, if they are willing to take the risk of being in chartubate, exposing their face/identity, they know what risk that will brings already though like you pointed out, maybe not to the extent of running for the office risk.

"Everyone" seems exaggerated.  It's still a minority of boys who show themselves. I think they think when they block IP addresses from their own country in Chaturbate, that they are save since no risk family or friends will see you there. But viewers who can see you make videos and these eventually find their way to porn sites and to gay torrent sites. Where EVERYONE can find them.

It will probably vary from one society to the next, but there's a lot in what Vinapu is saying. The example that came to my mind was the use of cannabis. We're beginning to see that a history of cannabis use (like being openly gay) it is hardly a major stigma anymore -- at least in some places.

As well, "standing for election" may itself pass into history, and so our concerns about losing votes on account of a history of Chatubating might become moot. Democracy is hardly the norm in most countries today, I daresay it will become an endangered practice (a quaint idea) in decades to come.

It only will cease to be an issue if we don't feel shame anymore that people see our erections. But lets face it I dont see that going away soon. Many of todays young people wouldn't like it at all if their families, friends, neighbours saw a naked picture of them with their full erection. We still live in an age where most people don't want this to happen to them. I don't see that  going away anytime soon.

The Chaturbate guys have a false sense of anonomity. They can block viewers from their own country, that is why they not seem to care about this. Like I dont care when people see me naked in a gay sauna with erection. But I would care if my whole neighboorhood saw photos of that from me.

This aspect is not going away anytime soon. If you are running for office in 2050 you wouldnt want your old erection photos/chaturbate videos going around for everyone to see.

I admit I have never heard of chaturbate before. I assume it is another porn or social media hook up site. But do you seriously think those trolling the internet for the latest porn pics in 2019 are going to keep them for 31 years in the expectation that one or more might just be running for any kind of office? I think those in their late teens and twenties have little to fear about internet exposure in a generations time.

No, but I expect it more to go like this in 2050.

Now in 2019 some guy sees you on Chaturbate and you are his favorite. He makes a video of your jerk off performance for his own private use. Because you are his type. 20 years later he sees someone running for president. He thinks: "I recognize that face and smile" and suddenly he remembers:  it is the guy who was on Chaturbate 20 years ago and whose videos he still sometimes watches (not a strange idea, I still watch porn that was maybe recorded 10 years ago). Then he thinks: I go make money, I go leak this to the media for 100.000 dollars.
