So with the demise of Soi T, where is the new Maxis going to be ? Not the bar but the place to sit, look, checkout the passing traffic. Is there anywhere in Patpong Soi 2 ??

Paul I imagine it must be a bit depressing watching how soi evaporates

I don't feel that it is depressing.  It could well be a change for the better.  Unfortunately, price gouging will likely follow wherever the bars go.

Vinapu it is. But it’s nice to see some of the regulars stop by Maxi’s and keep the staff at least a little busy.

Not 100% sure. You can ask 3 people and get 3 different answers.  But probably thru next week anyway.

It is depressing for members who frequented Twilight over the years to experience its demise.

The new venues will quickly learn what the market will bear in terms of prices. Some may fail while others will prosper.

Let's give it a chance to play out.

don't let money worries to annihilate  fun from your vacations there. There are cheaper bars and escorts who are less diva like.

 

You may be right about change for better but whether that materializes is one great unknown. We can only hope

On the same closing schedule as Maxi's. the original Dream Boys is still open and putting on a show at 10:00. I did not go, so cannot comment on the quality of the show or numbers of guys.  Some of the performers walk to/from the new Dreamboy Paradiso, providing some welcome color as well.
