ceejay Posted January 18, 2019 Posted January 18, 2019 Don't know why it happens but sometimes when I am replying to a post, Firefox closes down without warning. I lose everything I have written. I have: Win 7 64 bit - fully up to date Firefox 64.0.2 (64-bit) It doesn't seem to happen with other websites. Quote
reader Posted January 18, 2019 Posted January 18, 2019 You could try uninstalling the Firefox app and then reloading it again. But you may first want to check out the current Firefox system requirements. I've used Firefox years and really like it. Good luck! https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/64.0.2/system-requirements/ Quote

It happened to me few rimes in the past in various browsers so now I learned my lesson and when have longer post to write I do it in Word and then copy and paste, frustration is over. Quote
TotallyOz Posted January 19, 2019 Posted January 19, 2019 It may be a log in issued and your permissions were changed due to being logged out. However, this should not cause the browser to shut down. I did email Invision support and they said they no issues have been reported about this. I only use Firefox and never had this happen. However, sometimes when I have so many tabs open, it happens. But, that is based on my system and not the board software. Quote
ceejay Posted January 20, 2019 Author Posted January 20, 2019 Thanks for looking into it Michael. It's not a problem to me - I just thought you would want to know. TotallyOz 1 Quote
