Now im getting older and nearly hitting the big 5, I have been going thru this “ phase” of trying to learn Technology,things like that instagram , facebook etc

 

I like change and inlove to try to learn new things .

 

But you younger guys that know about modern technology,( i shouldnt just say young guys ) can you explain how it can be now used in business areas such as Go Go bars .

 

For example using cams in go go bars and then someone sitting in their hotel room etc can look at the guys on stage and order online , I dont suppose thats new ? Im too old lol

 

But what other technology now is the latest that can be used in business? That can be used in a Go Go bar.

I guess the question im asking is how do u modernise a go go bar,how do yiu bring this kind of business into the next century......with technology?

 

What does the next Gen want ? I know they are more lazy , maybe even more anti social , they like to have “ friends” online so to speak.

 

They like things done fast ! They like to take pics ,selfies etc

 

things online like stats ? Biggest cock ? Customer ratings . Etc, is that even modern technologies?

Many of the guys who work in the bars have already started using the internet to boost their chances of income.  When I was in Phuket and Pattaya, many of the guys on the apps worked in massage shops or the bars.  Some let you know right away what bar or massage shop they could be found working.  Others would only tell you they were working in a shop when and if the conversation turned to a meet-up.

 

I think we are years away from modern technology seamlessly integrated into the selection of guys in a bar or massage shop. But it may well happen in the near future.  As cameras get better and virtual photo's capture 3d images, it will be possible that a device can be used to offer a far more accurate image of the person we are interested in, but it may be a 2-way street.  I can imagine walking into a place looking for a guy to off and given a device to select a guy from.  Once the selection is made a 3-d photo of me is sent to the guy and he responds with a yes or no and if yes he may respond with how much he demands based on my 3-d image.  I think that is a few years away and safeguards will have to come about for the guys and they will need total control of their images.  Thanks to the EU and their privacy laws, control of your cyber images will improve greatly and will become commonplace.

 

Technology is changing everything from how we consume news, work, get directions book travel and consume porn.  Taxi drivers are at war with technology firms like Uber and Lyft for upending their way of doing business.  Hotels are at war with AirB&B, Trip Advisor Reviews and average short-term rentals.  Technology is already being blamed for the slow demise of the neighborhood gay bar so it only stands to reason that gay gogo bars and massage shops will have to embrace technology or fight it and become an afterthought.

 

For many of us, if a business or bar does not have an internet presence does it truly exist?

technology like 3d images in gogo's or massage shops? Not going to happen. An image is just that, an image. Same as ipad images already used in some places but not not really commonplace  Such images doesn't convey personality, warmth, demeanor, "chemistry" which are all essential for a very personal, intimate encounter. Which is why using the apps is great, but can much easier lead to disappointments.The app/online world is distinct and separate from the brick and mortar gogo abrsand massage shops. Gogo bars may or may not disappear with the older generations, but massage shops certainly will not.
Besides, can't compare the gogo and massage businesses to hotels or taxi businesses - after all we still get our haircuts the old fashioned way, too. Personal services can't be replaced by technology, just being made more approachable maybe (an internet presence certainly helps)

There are already bars and massage shops using tablets loaded up with pictures of guys that can be hired but it comes across as if it was a gimmick and not a smooth standard practice. Technology is coming. I think it's going to be impossible to hide from it.

Than of course , thanks to that progress next day you have a lot to talk about with your co-worker and and end of day with your boss.

 

Knowing looks of your neighbors are for granted. And all that thank to our own begging to make life easier.

 

If you believe privacy laws will protect you , take it from me , it will be no more than international laws  prevented Reagan from taking on Granada or Putin snatching Crimea from Ukraine

I noticed a lady BJ bar in Soi Buckhao has a webcam on their website.

 

I have turned it in to see a group of ladies sitting outside eating,nothing exciting .

 

However they also have a online ordering and book appointments, profiles pics on their website with acronyms on what they do eg BBBJ , CIM etc

 

Not sure if it would do well at this time in the gay community though, maybe the customer base is different.

that is good idea on condition that one is not very picky if whoever knocks the door is a bit different from person  imagined based on the pictures. 

 

But definitely will work on hiring somebody known already, saves trip to the bar and all those drink costs but also deprives one all those smiles from personnel on the stage and a general fun of being out.

The bar and gogo workers come and go so fast, it would be next to impossible to keep all the info up to date.

I would suspect all that technical info would catch the attention of the current governments.

if the bars and massage venues want to use tech to compete with where the apps are now and where they are heading then they should be getting rid of their dancers and masseurs and deploying advanced sex robots - even the models available now couldn't be that much worse than so many of the regular post here about app/bar offs that need to watch straight porn on their phone to keep it up while fucking them or offs/masseurs willing to do little more than wank but demanding full tip

 

and the tech is only going to get better
