Back in my room eating mango sticky rice noms as I wonder what to do until the night gogo bars start to open. Decide to write about my trip, years ago I learnt a lot of valuable info from this forum so hope this helps any newbies etc.

 

Also this is just a place for me to write abt my trip like a diary for future reading and enjoyment, and not meant to be like a super informative guide, but hope it helps!

 

Day 1

 

So landed in Suvarnabhumi Airport and the queue was terrible... almost 30 minutes for immigration. Took airport taxi which ran by meter to my trusted Le Meridiem Hotel on surawong road. About 280 baht + 75 for highway toll + 50 for airport fees. Ive been to bangkok at least 7-8 times since my very first trip in 2014.. typing all this on my phone so abit hard to link to my first trip report, but if ur keen u can click my username and see my threads, otherwise ill put a link when im back home.

 

Le meridiem hotel is my go to hotel, ive stayed here on all trips except once (didnt hv the dates i wanted) and i hv no complaints. No issues with bringing a friend overnight, good in room food service all day long, theres a small gym/pool area which is not bad with nice shower facilities (i use it when i have to checkout but staying in bangkok a few more hours till my flight), nice spacious room. Abit pricey though, but if within your budget, highly recommended.

 

Went off for a massage first at arena. Walked there from the hotel. It opens at 11.30am but went there about 1pm+. the mall its in looks very rundown with shops that appears to have closed down. But fret not, head to level 3 and you’ll find arena. Once in, about 20 shirtless guys were standing around and I had a hard time choosing. The selection of guys were more older, less twinky im fact 0 twinks, but more rugged kind of guys. Paid 600 for the room for 1 hour and headed up. Room was not very nice/looks abit dirty but it dosent matter to me. Chose a guy called Sam and had a good hard massage for about 45 mins before moving on to hugging/carressing/licking for a short while heh. gave 1500 in tips.

 

I would say arena dosent have the best facilities compared to senso/prince, abit dirtyish but good enough for me for a massage. Selection of guys compared to senso/prince i would say is more older rugged kind of feel, sweaty kind of vibe. But ive been here every trip and i would recommend it. Price of the rooms is the lowest.

 

I then headed to the prince. Took a long walk through the streets of silom, had a long tiring walk under the sun and was all sweaty.. nearly took a cab but i told myself how dare i, after all the decadence i was going to have, i had to work for it heh. Prince by far probably has the best facilities, but higher prince for the room. paid 1100 for 1.5hr room. The guys are behind a glass wall, gymming/playing pool, but will stand in a line once a customer comes in. Given a ice cold drink as well which was much needed. Selected a cuteish looking guy called Fem. guys here are more muscleish , theres young hunks & older as well. didnt rly see any twinky ones. Selection was hard cuz there were lots of hot muscle bois =) but eventually settled on Fem. found out that he was gay while chatting, probably explains why we were making out almost the whole time hee. Not much massage to be honest, went into the after massage bits fairly quickly, but oh well, not complaining. tipped 2000 and headed to senso =)

 

but i was hungry and decided to cab to silom to take a bite. actually just wanted to cool down abit, sun was rly hot, and headed to haagan daz to have an ice cream and air con.

 

Next walked to senso. Everytime i go to senso i have to walk past 1-2 times and then walk back again haha because senso is the most like exposed massage place, sometimes im too shy to enter straigt away. I remember my very first time, i walked past it back and forth at least 3-4 times before quickly entering. Its on a busy street and anyone can see u enter it. But after awhile i didnt care anymore haha and i just walked str in today. Senso has a mamasan as a host, had about 10 guys standing very close to you (1m away) all lined up, shirtless and sweaty from their gymming, and smiling at u oh boy.. but i quickly chose Tim, my go to senso boy. Had him at least 4-5 tims before and have no complaints. He does a hard massage, and sensual too. 1000 for the room, 1500 as tips. Senso has decent facilities, comparable to prince. Main difference between senso and prince i would say os that in senso, the boys are 1m from you without any glass wall. You can see them up close and sometimes a bit intimidating as well but fun i guess. In prince u can be sitting 5-10m away, although if u want u can definitely go up close and have a look. Quality of boys largely the same kind of muscleish jockish young guys.

 

Headed out and bought mango sticky rice from this lady just at the main silom road outside senso street, shes been there since 2014 at least when i first went to bkk, and i love her mango sticky rice!

 

Headed back to hotel and resting awhile before deciding which bar to go to tonight heh...

 

Am considering trying out a new massage place for fun, any suggestions? Ive always been to arena/senso/prince only on my past few trips for convenience (i always stay at le meridien), all walkable distance. I did went to the old hero, but not the new one.

Great report, I smiled reading it as your Senso reaction is exactly the same like mine , it must be some shy river flowing underground the place as usually I feel the same, passing by , returning , passing by and finally brave to enter. 

 

Also always have goose bumps when entering ,here  and at Arena only and wonder what in may be as other places I enter without such tribulations.

Only explanation I have for myself is that those are two places where I always  leave happy.

 

I see your first day being very busy , another habit we share.

 

Go to MyHero, chances are you won't be disappointed. In Silom area ogle boys at Nakarat and Bangkok massage and chances are you will find somebody you'll like. It's good at times to stop monodiet and try something new    or return to places not seen for long time.

 

Waiting impatiently for the next installment but remember  - your fun comes well ahead of self-imposed forum duties , LOL

if you are looking for other places, there are few more places to go like vck club, nine spa, banana for the gay massage. For mixed massage place, where u can still choose the guy from ipad (usually 5-6 only) with low possibility of HE, Prime is my go to. I usually choose the best looking or guys with best arms, since they are all wearing the uniform and most of them looks better in person. I also go for wat pho massage if i were to take the boat as those area, ill do lots of walking and their foot massage is really good and makes my foot feels like new.

Day 1 Night

 

Headed to dreamboys at about 10pm, show started at 10.30pm but it was already quite crowded. 500 baht for 1st drink/cover charge, 450 for second. Ive watched the show many times before and i think lately the quality has decreased, unless its just this night but it was a saturday.. anyway a few hot boys that i would have offed , but wanted to wait and see - a cardinal mistake... when i was ready to off someone there was no one that i wanted.. lesson learnt - once u see someone that u know would be worth your baht to off, just do it str away!

 

Theres this boy in dreamboys who wears a cap without and number tag. Hes rly hot heh, but i guess unoffable. I rmb a few years back he did have a number tag, guess now he gets enough from tips and stuff to not need to be offed.

 

Day 2

 

Headed to arena again for a massage. 590 baht for a 1 hr room, but of course dirtyish, which is just the vibe of the place, but i still go anyway heh. Lots of making out, hes probably gay shrugs, and a nice decent massage. 1500 for tips.

 

Headed to Senso and this time on a sunday afternoon there were only abt 4-5 boys, quite little, thought sundays a busy day. Maybe they were all chosen and in their rooms heh. But i saw Tim and it was a no brainer again. Really good hard massage with sensuality, kissing and hugging >.< 1000 for 1hr room, 1500 for tips.

 

Btw disclaimer to newbies is that i tip higher than the minimum tip/ maybe market rate? Idk, some ppl say i spoil market, but i feel better giving 1500 for a 1 hr session rather than the minimum 1000 that is asked for. So why not, if it makes me feel better. Plus if boy deserve it then by all means.

 

I then walked over to sauna mania where oh boy it was going to be a wild night. So i reached abt 6+, 260 baht for entrance for a large towel, condom and lube. Steam room and sauna room were good, and a nice place to just sit and relax. Went to the maze a few times but wasnt up for action. then at abt 8+ there was an announcement in thai, at first i was worried it was a police raid or whatever, but i heard the word party and i was like cool. In the end i still stuck to senso/arena instead of trying new places. Monodiet isnt too bad, after all, its the boy thst matters. The room ultimately is all the sameish, unless u rly care abt the room, honestly to me its all abt the boy during that 1 hr. So in the end to me its the convenience, walking distance of senso/arena that still attracts me heh.

I went on sunday. Its not advertised online, i didnt know until it happened as well. I added ratchafa on line, and asked them when the next one is ( sauna mania has no contact only phone number, and they said ratchada and sauna mania is same owner, in fact they were the ones who told me that sauna mania has party but didnt mention when), they said next ones in next month, but to check with them when im back in bangkok. I guess after the recent raid its more hush hush and less advertised, but do call them if ur in town i guess

1.boy in question can be booked for a few days. always better to ask that assume he is not offable

 

2. Don't worry about those who say that you spoil market, you do not.

 

Guys know what market pays and if you pay more for good service  or even for your good feeling it sends to them right signal - that it pays to go that extra mile and  make client happy , not just satisfied.

 

3. I agree with you about monodiet but it won't hurt to have eyes opened as at one point, God forbid , regular guy (s) may take you for granted and service may deteriorate while expectancies will go other way, unfortunatey I know a bit what I'm taking about from own experience.

 But yes , why to look for unknown when known quality is right in front of us and smiling.

Day 3

 

After a good breakfast at the coffee club, headed back to hotel to digest awhile. Coffee club is a nice place, has all linds of food and a nice environment to chill.

 

Headed to arena, saw a muscleish cute guy, name is Nots. Lots of making out, sucking, hugging.. found out he was bi, he mentioned sth abt having a gf last time but then now he finds sex with guys better? Or sth lifdat heh.. rly like the arena guys, good muscles which are nice to touch/hug heh..

Wat Pho is mainly populair among Aseans, there is no need at all to make the trek to there, many say its like a big factory with often masseurs in training, BKK has msg-shops at every streetcorner and busstop and about any shopping centre, you'll never know how good/bad it will be beforehand.

So far i like to take things by the ear. After we are both done with messing ard, if he starts dressing up then ill just pay them short time rate, if they shower and come back naked and just go into bed then ill just take it as long time ha. About 80% of my massages are set up when I see a cute lad sat outside a massage shop & walk directly up to him to ask for a massage.   

I suppose this is more difficult where the masseurs are half dressed and therefore hiding in the shop.  

However, I don't think much harm is done if you walk in, decide you don't like the offer and make some excuse to walk out again.

no harm done, it may feel awkward but places and guys are used to it , I witnessed it many times and never noticed any nasty grimaces or comments, . maybe just ' him no like" or " him shy".

 

Best excuse , if somebody  needs one is to pat yourself on empty pocket and say ' I forgot money" - that part everybody will understand.

So I went on Sat15dec2018 and arrived 18:35, and I was lucky: preparations for show in progress. And I like what I saw and touched later. Receptionist says show is Fri Sat Sun 19:00. I will be back!

Absolutely if the drinks cost 350 baht or more, you're entitled to spend 20 seconds or so deciding if the bar is OK first.

 

In some cases about 3 seconds do it. Walk in see about 4 scruffy tattooed types on their phones. Back out before they even make it to the stage.

 

Just don't do what some tourists do and try to watch the entertainment for several minutes without buying a drink. Thankfully this is rare (& typically cheapskates from India etc)
