From reading here and christianpfc's blog, free sex doesnt come easy when you want to be picky. I've been to a some host bars over the years with female friends. Most of the bars feature guys who are fully dressed, usually in designer clothes. The guys are all offable, but the price is very high. None of the ladies I went with offed a guy - they just sat and chatted. Sunee appears to be unknown to most gay travellers. For some reason the old crowd of Sunee regulars has slowly declined and on week nights I've sometimes been the only customer.

 

Part of me wishes the Chinese would discover Sunee and bring it back to life. But another part of me - you can guess which one - hopes they don't.

I forgot that I promised an update on Err Infinity (a very strange name for a host club!). I asked my friend to get his friend’s thoughts....according to her, she didn’t enjoy it very much. Possibly because she went on a weekday, it was quite crowded but no live shows or much entertainment, mainly drinking and people watching. It is open until 4 am so most people arrive at 1 am after other venues close. Very local crowd, lots of good looking Thai girls in their 20s and the hosts seem catered to this market. Also seems that the real life girlfriends of the host boys will bring their friends so there is lots of socialising amongst themselves. The boys were very attractive and lots of them. You can call a manager over and he will line up about ten boys with a flashlight for you to pick from. She also said there was an older couple with a table, and a gay man who had four boys to himself. So they are accepting of gay male patrons too.

What is left of Sunee was very busy last night. The beer bars had some large groups of farangs. Winner Bar was packed with customers and about 15 go go staff witb a few stunners if you like twinks. They don't like running the air con much at Winner bar but the guy next to me complained and they cranked it up a bit. I think i will go back to Sunee tonight, If only Jomtiem Complex could have some go go bars.

Boy drink was 130. I had a big night in Jomtien Complex on Thursday so only had a Coke Zero at 89 baht. Last time i visited Winner bar my beer was 99 baht. Great value and there were more hot guys working last night than on previous visits. They really have prepared well for this time of year.

That is the only real bad thing with Winnerboys, that they dont get it that a bar need to have aircondition when alot of people is inside. Especially when it's crowded with pompoi falangs. Sometimes the bar just stink of sweat!

Actually this is very true. On stage, the lighting can help a little but once they sit with customers, they definitely freezing. One of the boy had asked my permission to wear his normal street cloth right after i agree to off him but wants to stay until shows end.

What time of day do you think is best to visit a bar (like Winner Boys) in order to get the best choice of guys to off?  Is 9PM too early to off someone for long time?

9:00 pm would be a good time. Some farang come much earlier, at opening,  in order to get first choice. Off fee before 10:00 pm is 600 Baht.
