Popular Post Wheelz Posted November 6, 2018 Popular Post Posted November 6, 2018 Having planned to be in both Bangkok and Pattaya, I started my usual hunt for boys on Hornet a week before arrival. My ideal age is 18 -23, slim, twinky bottom types. I find sometimes that an initial ‘You want Sex?’ can first be met with ‘No’, but if you chat for a day or two, it can become a ‘Yes’, and then a ‘Yes Please’…. So the advance Hornet search narrowed down to two boys, both keen to meet, both early twenties twinky types. Boy 1 and Boy 2 – 28th October. Already lined up, chatted up, and both Boy 1 and Boy 2 keen to meet. Neither are money boys. One is a student, the other working in the ubiquitous Central. Photos give preference to Boy 2, so stall Boy 1 and arrange to meet Boy 2 on arrival. Boy 2 is 22 years old, exactly the height and weight I prefer. He comes to my hotel in taxi soon after I've checked in, asking if I can help with taxi fare. Sure, no problem. Gorgeous boy, slim, smooth, dark dry skin, from Isaan farm. Shy at first in room, but once the lights are out and he is under the covers, turns into a tiger. Clearly experienced, and very hungry for sex. I top, and we cuddle for a long time after. He can’t stay the night – staying in BKK with his sister (?). So I pay his taxi fare back (120 baht), and we arrange to meet the following morning. Boy 2 - Monday 29th October. Start on my shopping list with Boy 2 in tow, but only after a hot time in hotel room. He is not so shy this morning. He does his best to show me around town, but doesn’t know the BTS, and is not sure about directions. After shopping, we are both hungry, and he fancies ShabuShi. We indulge (800 baht) and then back to hotel room for more fun. It’s been clear during the day that he has problems with eyesight, and as a student that isn't so good, so I take him for eye test and pay for a simple pair of glasses. It’s a fair return for him, and something useful – not just party money. I explain that I have other things to do the following day, and we part company both very happy. Boy 3 - Tuesday 30th October. Boy 3 shows up on Hornet un-asked, and says ‘Hi’ to me without prompt. His pictures are ‘OK-ish’, he’s 21, and he has very few followers. Chat on Hornet gets very steamy very quickly, and it’s clear that he’s well up for it. He’s working, and I am busy in the evening seeing old friends, so we plan to meet the following day. Still not paid my usual visit to Soi Twilight or any of the surrounding bars, but that can come later. And Pattaya on hold... Boy 3 - Wednesday 31st October. I had planned to be in Pattaya today, but early today had several messages from Boy 3. He’s clearly very horny, and wants to know in detail what we might do later. The tension mounts up during the day. He messages me throughout the day and I have to remind him not to chuck wow, so the trip to Pattaya is postponed. He comes to my hotel immediately after he’s finished work. Hardly through the door and he’s shedding clothes! He is very much nicer than his pictures, though a little on the tubby side. I quite like that. He wants to shower with me, and is very hard from the moment he comes to my room. So preliminary activities take place in the shower! He wants to spend the night with me over the weekend, so I suggest that today we just somokee and chuck wow. No way. He is all over me, and I end up topping him for a very long time. I get the impression that for him it’s more about affection, and the comfort of another person to hug and caress than it is about getting his rocks off. But they do come off – twice. He has to leave fairly early because he lives with his parents and the don’t know he’s active (oh yeah?). He cannot meet on Thursday for family commitments. Boy 4 – Thursday 1st November. Finally make it to Pattaya. After some sightseeing, I catch the Jomtien bus from the Airport at 5.20pm arriving at 7.20 and book into Zing. Crappy hotel. Safe doesn’t work properly, and it’s bare minimum. But it’s in the right place, and cheap. Start the evening by visiting some of the host bars nearby. In Sun Bar, see a boy I really fancy, chat briefly, and off him for a short time. He agrees to do long time as well if it works out in bed. But I’m also keen to visit Sunee, and doubt that I’ll be back in Pattaya this trip, so after a nice, but not stunning, short time, he returns to the bar and I’m off to Sunee via Songtaew. To be continued. TMax, Travellerdave, Vessey and 10 others 13 Quote
Terry4 Posted November 6, 2018 Posted November 6, 2018 I must say i liked the Zing hotel in Jomtien, lovely staff, welcome drink on arrival, free drinks in the Lobby from 5pm , I had a room with a sunny balcony overlooking the soi . The price was great for such a big room .,I think I recently paid about 1100 baht per night a Deluxe Room there with balcony etc. They had a gym and a cafe ,im disapointed you didnt like it . Quote
Travellerdave Posted November 6, 2018 Posted November 6, 2018 Thanks Wheelz for an enjoyable trip report. I’m looking forward to the next episode. Like Terry I’m rather surprised that you describe the Zing as “crappy” as I’ve stayed there twice and found it fine and very good value for money. Quote
Guest Posted November 6, 2018 Posted November 6, 2018 I cannot comment about Zing, however any hotel that knows it has clients who bring guests back to the room & includes them in their target market really needs to make sure the safe is working. This is Pattaya, after all. How do you do "long time" with no room safe ? If they cannot fix it, they need to offer another room or expect to deserve some unfavourable customer comment. Quote
Terry4 Posted November 6, 2018 Posted November 6, 2018 Did you notify the reception staff ? I would be very surprised if they didnt act on your complaint ? My safe also didnt work ( the numbers didnt seem to work) and i notified reception who had a Handyman come to my room immediately, however as i didnt want to change rooms they gave me a key to lock / unlock the safe, I found their concern and service impeccable. splinter1949 and BL8gPt 2 Quote
vinapu Posted November 7, 2018 Posted November 7, 2018 I also join chorus praising Zing where I stay month ago. Had problem with safe as well - my fault as punched my numbers too fast and forgot combination. Went to reception and guy with a key followed me right away. Very good value for money and one can bring guests bypassing reception completely if so desired. Now waiting for Wheelz's adventures in Sunee Quote
zombie Posted November 7, 2018 Posted November 7, 2018 OP: Thx the interesting report. Do me a favour. u seem to have good success on Hornet. Not work for me. But other apps a lot of success including for free. What is the hornet secret? Quote
petric Posted November 7, 2018 Posted November 7, 2018 very interesting story. i am looking forward to hear more..... Quote

Went to reception and guy with a key followed me right away. This is a good point. Did Wheelz ask the hotel to fix the safe ? If they are asked to fix it and do not, a moan is very justified. If they are not asked to fix it, that's no reason to complain. I've stayed in other hotels & had a problem with the safe. Usually poor contacts to the batteries. They have usually come & fixed it straight away, so I am happy. Once no one was in reception, so I simply fixed it myself. Quote

Better be careful of that FIX. One trip to the Philippines the room safe would not work. So I accepted the Key and when I was ready to pay the Bill I was USD800 Short. The Resort would not even cover the loss... Quote
paborn Posted November 7, 2018 Posted November 7, 2018 But, wouldn't the hotel key override the combination? That's how they open a safe a client left locked. So, it looks like there's a thief at the hotel who could have acted regardless of the safe "working". Yes/no? vinapu 1 Quote

The only time I have lost money like this was in Cambodia and I'm not sure if it was in Siem Reap or Pnom Penh. If I knew for sure, well I would post at least 10 re views on Trip Advisor, Booking.com etc to protect future customers. Quote

I never had such problems anywhere but on each trip, not just Thai one I make a point to find time and do money inventory every single day, just in case so at least I know if something would happened. Only time I lost money in Thailand was in BTS somewhere between Hero and my hotel in Silom. Whole 500 baht, to this day I don't know if it was lifted from my pocket or I dropped it accidentally when digging for money buy a ticket at the station. Definitely when I left Hero money was there in case somebody wonders. bucknaway 1 Quote
GWMinUS Posted November 8, 2018 Posted November 8, 2018 Well, this happened in the Philippines. At a small Resort south of Dumaguete, Negros Oriental. I felt stupid and angry. I had been told the Resort only took Cash and there were no ATM near there. So I withdrew money in Cebu City before flying there. Put the money in the Room Safe and just charged everything. Came time to pay up and there was just USD200 in the Safe, USD800 was missing. I know the room cleaners opened the safe and took the money. But not way I could prove it!! Fortunately I had a Friend from New Zealand living there and he got money and brought it to me. YES, better to check Daily... Life goes on!!! paborn and bucknaway 2 Quote

I know the room cleaners opened the safe and took the money. But not way I could prove it!! As you were 100% sure it went from the hotel safe, in my view the correct action is to post a review on Trip Advisor and several other sites to publicize this. That will help to protect other consumers and when the hotel starts losing trade, they come under economic pressure to crack down on the theft. The internet has some good mechanisms to correct bad behaviour. Ideally, also contact the police, but it kind of depends if they are any use in that country. I suppose paying in advance is another way. Although many years ago, I paid $125 for 5 nights in a hotel in Saigon, the day before departing in order to make a quick get away. They had no record of this and the female manager was somewhat aggressive. Whilst she was at the back leafing through the file, I showed the guy on the counter the receipt and she then demanded to see it as I was walking out of the door. I kept walking. They got named and shamed on Trip Advisor. (If I could remember the hotel name, it would be repeated here) Quote
