Popular Post bobsaigon Posted December 17, 2018 Popular Post Posted December 17, 2018 One wonders however, how many of these boys are truly fond of their customers...and how many are simply skilled emotional manipulators! Start by accepting the fact that they all attempt to be "skilled emotional manipulators". Then one can spend as much time as one wishes wondering "how many of these boys are truly fond of their customers." Note that being fond of their customers does not preclude being emotional manipulators. That is the way they earn their living. And I wish all of them success. vinapu, paborn, 18past19 and 2 others 5 Quote
Popular Post a447a Posted December 17, 2018 Popular Post Posted December 17, 2018 Nothing that happens between us and the guys in Thailand is real, imho. The guys we off are all just role-playing and some are better actors than others. That doesn't mean a kind of "friendship" can't develop, but even that isn't real, as it is not a true friendship - certainly not in the way I would consider a friendship to be. We both have our own friends and I'm pretty sure the hot young guys would much rather spend their time with them, rather than us. It's the tip that keeps them coming back. That doesn't mean they can't be friendly or become fond of you or that you can't have a great time together, especially if you have guys who you off exclusively. With a one night stand with a guy from a bar, the focus is on the sex. If you see someone regularly, then you can focus on other things while you are together. I enjoy the boyfriend fantasy, but at the end of the day, that's all it is to me - a fantasy. Jasper, Liam18, 18past19 and 2 others 5 Quote

Popular Post jason1975 Posted December 19, 2018 Popular Post Posted December 19, 2018 You are underestimating the boys network. My friend had the similar plan saying to the Dreamboy guy he will arrive one day later but when he was watching Jupiter show on the first night he received millions of LINE stamps of Cony crying!! It turned out a Jupiter boy who moved from Dreamboy in recent days reported to the former colleague “ your customer is in Jupiter now” LOL I met my regular boy, YY last night. I gave him the impression that I arrived yesterday. After paying his off fee at his bar, we went to Maxis to have some bites and drinks. I wanted to do some boy watching. Lo and behold, YY called out to a friend walking past. The friend came over to our table and they started chatting in Vietnamese. Damn. I had offed the friend 3 nights ago. He smiled at me. YY was startled and frowned at me. The friend then said bye and left. YY then turned to me,"You tricked me! You came to Bangkok earlier!" Oops! But all is forgiven now. YY is currently sleeping next to me in the nude. hank75, 18past19, Jasper and 7 others 10 Quote

jason1975 Posted December 19, 2018 Posted December 19, 2018 Dreamboys was barely half filled last night. No China tour group. About 20 customers watching show. After show, everyone went down. Coyote boys were dancing in black briefs. After 10 minutes later, boys in white briefs went on stage. About 15 boys. One customer suddenly walked to stage and threw a stack of 100 baht notes. The boys quickly grabbed the notes. vinapu 1 Quote
jason1975 Posted December 19, 2018 Posted December 19, 2018 On Monday night, I was at Moonlight and saw Indian gentleman handing out 100 baht tips personally to Moonlight boys after their show. Now, that's more classy. Quote

Jasper Posted December 19, 2018 Posted December 19, 2018 Throwing money at the guys on stage is crass, imho. So disrespectful. Last January at Jupiter, I saw hundreds of 20 baht notes falling down from 2nd floor seat to the stage. Waiters and mamasans rushed to the stage and picked up like piranhas. Interestingly none of the gogo boys tried. I have never seen someone using money guns at boy gogo but apparently Asian customers like using at girls gogo/karaoke bars. Quote

Does his boss throw his wage at him?? So you expect gogo-visitors to ask boys of their bank details so they can transfer the tip to their accounts? Every time I have seen a customer throw bills or ping pong balls at gogo-boys or -ladies on the stage they've certainly looked happy and enjoyed the game of trying to get as many as possible before the others. "So you expect gogo-visitors to ask boys of their bank details so they can transfer the tip to their accounts?" No. I expect the guys to be treated with respect. Watching them pushing each other side to grab the money while the customers all laugh at them is humiliating, imho. You may have noticed that in Boyzboyzboyz many of the guys refuse to participate in the ping pong ball antics. I wonder why? When I tiIp the cleaners in my hotel or the reception staff I don't throw the money at them and watch them fight over it; I hand it to them. No need for a bank transfer. paborn, vinapu, baobao and 1 other 4 Quote

hank75 Posted December 20, 2018 Posted December 20, 2018 Throwing bills on the stage is frankly obnoxious. Are they going to grab for them? They are already selling their asses for money. This doesn’t mean they have no self respect but that they’ve learned to block those feelings to survive. So sure, they will make a grab for a bill especially if rent is due - but it doesn’t make themselves feel any better about themselves. The least we can do is treat the boys with dignity so they can believe in the same about themselves and feel that even the world’s oldest professional is worthy of some respect and decency from their clientele. Or else, forcing them into repeated bill grabbing and you’ve put them on to the slippery slope of transforming into a shameless mamasan! Edit: I don’t know this ping pong game but assume the balls can be traded for cash? It doesn’t seem quite as repugnant to me (especially if it feels more like a kid’s game?) than actually throwing bills. paborn and traveller123 2 Quote
colmx Posted December 20, 2018 Posted December 20, 2018 Problem with the ping pong balls is that the bar takes a cut (up to 50%!) of the cost of the bucket So you are better off to tip the boys directly vinapu, a447a and BL8gPt 3 Quote

There's another issue here which no one seems to have picked up on. Thai notes bear the image of the king and any form of disrespect towards that image can be construed as lese majeste. People have been arrested for accidentally stepping on his image and there was one incident where a drunken farang threw his change on the bar floor and stepped on it because he was upset about one thing or other and was sent to prison for it. I know these are extreme cases but it doesn't hurt to be mindful of these things especially in the current political climate. BL8gPt, Liam18, hank75 and 1 other 4 Quote
