Further to the Phare Circus (full name: Phare Ponleu Selpak). I've been to the Battambang campus. There's a big top there, too, where scheduled shows are performed, but which is also used for training. In addition, the grounds feature an art gallery and a small, basic café where visitors can get a drink or a simple meal before the show. More importantly, there's a full-fledged school teaching regular subjects in addition to the specialized subjects of performance, music and art. As far as I can tell, the whole outfit is a legitimate social enterprise doing good work for the Battambang community on a non-profit basis. I'm a fan and I highly recommend catching a show in Siem Reap, Battambang, or both.

On another note, this is my first post on this forum. Back in the day, I was on the Ting Tong forum as "gemein." So, hi again.

Yes welcome.    Also, a reminder that good forums are not always for ever & so I like to appreciate the choice of 3 that we have currently (well 3 Thai forums, plus others).
