Speaking to reporters a press conference after a CNS meeting, CNS chairman and Army Commander-in-Chief Gen Sonthi Boonyaratglin said the CNS would hold trainings for the general members of the public so that they could help monitor against possible terror attacks and could inform the authorities in time. He said the CNS would seek cooperation from owners of fuel stations, department stores and various factories to send their employees to receive trainings. He said the trainings should help the people know as to whether they should alert officials about irregularities. Sonthi said the CNS has assigned the Internal Security Operations Command to be in charge of security affairs in the country.
