Returning for my annual "low season" visit - what's new/changed?

Hey guys -

 

Last year you all were amazing in sharing your advice as well as listening to my exploits, adventures, and gripes - so looking forward to doing it again.

 

I will be making my presence known in S.E. Asia for about six weeks arriving Sunday the 22 July - wondering what's going on and if any of you are around ...

 

• Last trip I actually met more guys via Hornet/Romeo than at the bars (about 70% non-commercial vs. 30% commercial, I would say) - still the case?
• Specifically - are the Super A/Nature Boy area bars still around? have they gotten any better? (any worse?)
• My go-to massage place has always been Arena - any place I should try? (My ideal guy is a lean, masculine type....more butch than twink...)
• And, of course, I keep reading about the demise of Soi Twilight - last year I made my feelings known about my problem with overpriced places with pushy staff - still the case?

 

Looking forward to recovering from my longggg New York - BKK trip with some great fun.

Xsize boarded already and moved to soi Wall Street renamed G-Boy,

 

new bar Tokyo Boys just beside Screwboys,

 

Boy 66 in old Jupiter location now is called Moonlight and seems better and better with every coming report

 

Fresh Boys has new location above Screwboys while old one in soi Twilight still is running, 

 

few reports / included mine / praised new Nakart  massage at the mouth of Silom soi 4

 

exchange booths at airport railway station are offering rates as good as best in the city

 

there are new banknotes and coins with new king face while old ones are still circulating

It's really depends on you really.If you'll decide to meet boys via the apps and go to bars only for fun but not for offing boys so most likely it will be the same as your last trip .

In Bangkok it's usually so I suggest to try Pattaya huge selection of boys for decent price.

Silom soi4 busy, no apparent low season. Revamped Balcony extra busy (as is whole of Soi4) on Fridays for cabaret show.

Soi 6 same as always -- SuperA, Golden Cock and Nature Boys same.

Don't forget next weekend has a 4 day holiday -- sadly 2 of those days will be 'dry' and many bars closed -- others only selling soft drinks.

Possibly closed or soft drinks from midnight on Thursday 'till midnight on Saturday,
