Recent Pattaya trip report

Just been to Pattaya for a few days. After reading the many useful reports posted on the forum, thought i would post something in turn too. A collection of experiences over the few days.

 

MASSAGES

 

Fah Massage

The guys were all quite friendly and eager to be chosen. Chose a younger and slim, cute, handsome guy who was more quiet in the end. Turned out he might not be trained much in massage, so some repetitive movement during the actual massage. He was quiet during the massage as i can't speak Thai. Although he's not skilled in massage, was quite serious in his work. Probably i'm not his type or he might have already cummed earlier, so he can't really cum even after getting hard, although he did try for some time. Accompanied me for the shower and helped to soap and shower me. Quite a sweet guy. Passed me water at the time of payment too.

 

Soda Massage

Like Fah Massage, guys were keen to be chosen. Quite funny how the guys from both Fah Massage and Soda Massage will playfully shout out to passer-bys who stop by the other shop. Also chose a younger and small sized guy, who was very happy to be chosen. The massage was so-so, with some sensual touches. The guy's quite eager to please too. Fun experience on the whole.

Staff not pushy. Guys on stage were playful at times, trying to get the customers' attention. One also sat by my side on his own and only left after giving him a small tip. Not many customers around though, due to low season. Finally bought a drink for one smaller and slim guy who was kinda more shy than the rest. He was very friendly and kept smiling and cuddling close to me.

 

Nice Boys

Think it has the most number of guys. The guys are not shy at all on stage and some will even approach to ask to sit down for a drink. The guys are fun and love watching them fool around among themselves on stage. One rushed down to show his stuff, asking me to touch it. So i did and tipped him. Another rushed down right after that hoping for the same. I also called a few more down. Really fun experience on the whole. But something not so pleasant happend so i didn't return to the bar after that. One skinny mamasan with long hair tried to ask me to buy a drink but i did not. I still tipped him/her 100 baht though. After that he/she asked me to buy another drink for myself for the supposed show although i just entered not so long ago and my previous drink's still untouched. So i decided to ask a guy i liked to sit down and buy him the drink instead. The guy offered to cum for a tip. When i wanted to pay after that, the same mamasan told me the total cost for my drink and the boy's drink is 600 baht. Having read the forum, i know she/he was way overcharging so i clarified. Think even the boy tried to help me ask for the correct price for the two drinks but the mamasan did not budge. So i paid the 600 baht for two drinks and left. There was another male mamasan who was friendly when i first entered though. I tipped him 100 baht before stepping out. Tipping for good service is fine, but i didn't like the feeling of being ripped off.

 

Power Bar

Nice atmosphere, fewer guys, but some really good-looking and cute guys and they as well as the mamasan are friendly. Staff are not so pushy too. Enjoyed the time there and tipped the guy i bought a drink for quite well. He was friendly and fun to be with.

 

Eros

The guys were friendly and keen to draw attention to themselves. Only 1 i liked though. So bought him a drink and for some cuddling and chatting. He was very friendly and was a genuinely nice guy. Very relaxed feel at Eros. The staff at the door was very friendly too. The guys are not pushy.

 

Good Boys

Decided to try in case it really closes down. Walked past a few times but didn't muster the courage to enter initially. Like what other members said, the bar's quite dimly lit and it can feel quite intimidating. But finally mustered the courage to enter. Glad that i did. The guys were actually very friendly and there's quite a number of good-looking ones too. Was ushered behind the screen area and got a drink for myself. Was asked politely whether i would like to ask a guy to sit down. Chose 1 i like and got him a drink. Each drink for myself and boy is 150 baht. The boy then asked whether i wanted him to cum. Was quoted 500 baht and eventually settled for 400 baht. After he cummed, he asked whether i would like another guy to sit down. The guys gathered around again and i chose another good-looking one. Got him a drink too and he also did some cuddling and kissing. Stopped at the two guys as they were the ones i liked the most. I actually really like Good Boys. The boys are really friendly, different from the feel before stepping in. They are not pushy too. Will be a pity if it really closes.

I vary rarely interact with mamasans and after reading your post I know why even better. Best way to keep them at bay is actually to have a boy sitting with us, at least tip will be compensated with a feel of this or that.

Mamasans are a pest to be gotten rid of quickly, and certainly not tipped.

I think I encountered the same mammasan in Good Boys. He wanted me to buy him a drink, and as he had played no part in my enjoyment I just refused and ignored him. He didn't bother me after that.

I stayed at Jomtien this time round for the more relaxed environment.

 

As what Vinapu said, Fah Massage and Soda massage are at Jomtien Complex. The bars i went to are at Sunee. I did walk past Boyztown a couple of times too. But during my visit last year, some of the bars were quite pushy, and like what some members said, there were a number of female customers in those bars. So affer i tried the Sunee bars that are less pushy and with friendly guys, didn't enter the Boyztown bars in the end. As for the bars at Jomtien, i'm still not quite sure how they work. Do we just buy a drink and the boys will sit down for a real chat?

Hm.. for the guys who came down for a short touch around 10 seconds?, i tipped them 100 baht each.

 

For the one guy i bought a drink for instead of buying another drink for myself, he offered to cum for 300 baht, so i paid him that separately, on top of the drink fee.

 

And i didn't off anyone from the bar in the end..

Oh, u mean if the boy cum, besides paying him the amount he asked for to him, i'll have to pay the bar too? That wasn't mentioned by the mamasan though. She stated clearly that the 600 baht was for just my drink and the boys' drink. When i clarified that the two drinks cost 600 baht, she said yes.. Then i mentioned that's quite a bit higher than what i read online, and the boy also seemed to put in a word for me in Thai. But she was insistent on 600 baht. As i didn't want the boy to get into trouble because of me, i just paid the 600 baht. I think she knew she overcharged me but didn't expect me to realise it. So she said if i return the next day, she'll give me a second drink for free. But i didn't go back again..

I should have done what you did. But i felt bad initially rejecting her, so i tipped her 100 baht, although she didn't help with anything. Didn't expect her to still overcharge me in the end..

 

To be fair, i'm not sure whether it could just be a one off incident, since most other members posted good comments about the bar. I did like the feel of the bar before the incident too at the end. There was also another short haired mamasan or waiter who was genuinely very friendly and chatted with me when i was sitting alone initially. So i tipped him before leaving. Some of the staff are still very friendly. Just thought it might be good to post here to prevent others from having to overpay again, and Nice Boys can still stay a fun and enjoyable bar.

This is reason I distribute my tips if any on departure  (I have a habit of tipping 100 baht best looking boy in bar), not earlier.

 

Exception are performers if I feel need to tip them / always tip  f***k show artists /

that was an impression I had reading your report - that you were tipping too fast , hence my comment.

 

I'm not commenting on your tipping habits but only on their distribution  in time, I too like  to tip people who are making my vacations more fun. Even if it adds up, in most cases it enhances experience for relatively little outlay. All we need to do is to ensure that we are tipping when we want , not when somebody asks for it.

Didn't you get a paper with the prices for your drinks as they were ordered in your little checkbin on the table? I visit this bar every week and the price for an alcohol drink for customer should be 170 and boydrink 200.
