Guest vincent82 Posted June 24, 2018 Posted June 24, 2018 Hi All, I'm a new user to this site and I am fairly limited in my Bangkok gay experience (1 previous trip which wasn't very successful). I will be in Bangkok again on 5th July for 1 week and is planning to do a bit more this time round, especially exploring Soi Twilight bars. As such, would like to seek some info with regards to the showtimes of the various bars: I've also walked past HotMale once but was a little intimidated by the touts so didn't stop for a look. Do they also provide shows? Thanks in advance. Quote
vinapu Posted June 24, 2018 Posted June 24, 2018 welcome to the forum all shows start between 10 and 10.45, times var by the bar. I think Hot Male show starts at 10. Touts may appear intimidating for uninitiated but they are harmless at end of day. Screwboys at Patpong has show at 1 a.m. reader 1 Quote
DivineMadman Posted June 24, 2018 Posted June 24, 2018 Something to consider is heading over to soi twilight at 9:00 or so -- before the shows -- and grab a bite to eat or a drink at Maxi's (a bit further into the soi on the left side). Then you can sit back, relax and take in the scene for a while. There's also plenty of eye candy at the massage shop across the street. The touts and guys working at the beer bars are just doing their job and even if they playfully grab your arm, just smile and keep going. It's all fun. reader 1 Quote
Guest vincent82 Posted June 24, 2018 Posted June 24, 2018 Thanks vinapu and DivineMadman for the info. I've never tried Maxi so maybe I will do so this time. Thanks for the tip. The last time I was there, I wanted to slow down to take at look at the first 2 bars on the the either side of the Soi entrance. But as soon as I slowed down, the touts approached and I decided to walk past quickly. Quote
DivineMadman Posted June 24, 2018 Posted June 24, 2018 But as soon as I slowed down, the touts approached and I decided to walk past quickly. I truly understand, but they're just doing their job and they absolutely mean no harm. Quote

It's all fun. and we shouldn't forget most of those touts are offable and usually they are veterans of business so may quite entertaining in the room even if they are past of their prime. Quote

pong Posted June 25, 2018 Posted June 25, 2018 the ''shows'' all start always later as they state outside-so you can order more epxensive drinks. If its very slow and too few customers, they may not show at all. But OTOH, on popular days/places, if you late means you get the worst seats. Speekee Thai to the touts also usually helps-they'll understand you must be a veteran. Quote
ChristianPFC Posted June 28, 2018 Posted June 28, 2018 Several bars are moving from Soi Twilight to across Surawong: X-Size now G-Boy, Fresh Boys, Tokyo Boys (which bar was that in Soi Twilight?). So you might want to have a look there as well. And don't forget Silom Soi 6 with Super A, Golden Cock, Nature Boys, with prices less than half of Soi Twilight. Quote
