PeterRS Posted June 27, 2018 Posted June 27, 2018 Thank you from me Vinapu. Although i am not much of a massage guy I do appreciate your reports. I am amazed that two massages a day is quite common for some posters. May I ask a rather personal question and please do not answer if you do not wish others to know or feel its just none of my business. I wonder very roughly how much you spend on a 13-14 day trip including accommodation, meals, all the massages, bar hopping and tips and so on. Just a total amount rom arrival in Thailand to departure, not a detailed day by day list as Christianpfc sometimes does. I think it might help others in generally budgeting for trips. vinapu 1 Quote

Vessey Posted June 27, 2018 Posted June 27, 2018 Great report vinapu, and many thanks for the effort (I know what is involved), Like you I like to explore new faces, but I also keep returning to favourites. And, especially as I look back over the years, my best experiences weren't always with the most handsome or good looking guys, they were with the ones that made a real effort to rock my world and make sex with them both fun and exciting - those were the lads that got frequent repeats from me. I am not sure that I could change hotels as frequently as you did, although I really ought to venture out from my usual one - I have been going there since 2010 LOL. You seem to get around well and with some style without 'partying like a rockstar', and I would be interested to learn what your average daily spend was (aside from hotel bills)? You tipped generously without being extravagant and consequently left a happy smile on the faces of the lads you met - that has to be a lesson for us all. I have seven weeks to wait before my next trip and reading your TR has been racking up my excitement at the prospect - so thank you once again. vinapu 1 Quote
spoon Posted June 27, 2018 Posted June 27, 2018 Thanks for another awesome trip report vinapu, enjoyed it tremendously. When will be your next trip aka 18th trip to LOS? Maybe we should time it together haha. I might go and join my friend travelling to siem reap in September, was thinking if i can side track to bkk before or after that 4 days trip haha lol. vinapu 1 Quote

Popular Post vinapu Posted June 28, 2018 Author Popular Post Posted June 28, 2018 Good job vinapu. Thank you from me Vinapu. Thanks vinapu, always a pleasure reading your reports Thanks for another awesome trip report vinapu, enjoyed it tremendously. Great report vinapu, and many thanks for the effort Thanks for your report, admire you’re energy and enthusiasm. you guys are spoiling me, thank you very , very much. Vessey is right, it takes a bit of work - fact is it took me longer to put report together than trip itself, LOL I can take criticism - I read all my reports posted here from 2013 on about twice a year, usually when I miss Thailand to a itchy point and I think they are very dry but if some like them I'm happy. I believe my report may be an inspiration for some to do this or that because I'm the same - I got a lot of ideas from reading reports on this forum and forum in general and from talking / e-mailing with our members. Few examples from last trip - visit to Dreamboys Bangkok and lodging at Baan Silom, Classrooms and D'Varee, dining at Kiss, Salt and Pepper and Das Berliner, spending 2 nights for first time ever at Jomtien Complex - all members inspired ventures. It were our members who dragged me to Winners , Nice Boys and Toy Boys, not my usual hunting grounds and I'm glad they did because I liked boys I offed from Winners ( my first ever from Sunee ) and ToyBoys. So it's good to hear some had fun reading that reports because I had fun putting it together not to mention being there to gather materials to write about, LOL I will respond to financial questions from few posts soon. santosh108, stijntje, paulsf and 2 others 5 Quote
Popular Post vinapu Posted June 29, 2018 Author Popular Post Posted June 29, 2018 Although i am not much of a massage guy I do appreciate your reports. I wonder very roughly how much you spend on a 13-14 day trip including accommodation, meals, all the massages, bar hopping and tips and so on. Just a total amount from arrival in Thailand to departure. I think it might help others in generally budgeting for trips. I like to spend time with naked young men although my definition of young goes all the way to 35 years and rarely I have anything to do with boys younger than 25, simply I’m wired that way and 25-35 is my target as they say. May be I’m too lazy to check ID and I’m making my life easy that way ? When going to Thailand I want to maximize such time and that is a reason for my 2 massages a day. I see therapeutic benefits as well. Even if I’m generally of very good health , from time to time age shows, pain here and there, relieved by skillful massage at least for a while. I noticed also that frequent massages are helping me to rest – I don’t sleep much when there and still most days I’m rarely tired and craving some sleep. My main reason for frequent massages is that I like experience, all those wandering hands, boy’s jewels pressed against my foot or hand pretending to be resting at edge of massage bed, hard cock poking me from behind, all that massage liturgy and decorum. This is MY reason for two massages a day if not more / day 9 above = three /, other may have other motives. As for spending question while a bit nosy, it’s justified. I don’t keep day to day spending tab but have very good and accurate idea how much I spent on every trip on door to door basis, up to 100 baht accurate. It’s not difficult as flight and insurance as well as hotels are prepaid using credit card, all other expenses on my way and at destination I pay cash so it’s very easy to count what I’m taking with me plus cash withdrawals if any / usually they are on last 2-3 days even if this is not cost effective way of financing due to bank charged on both ends / minus any money I’m bringing back home / rarely from Thailand but usually from other destinations as I hate to be short of cash on vacation /. Still I’m not keen on quoting it here how much I spent for two reasons: My holidays are quite intensive with corresponding tab , look at last trip of 13 days, 1 day with one off, 5 days with two offs or massages , 6 days with three and one, day 9th with four. On day 12 I visited 8 bars and in each I paid at least my drink. Some people may balk at such extravagance and even find it tiring but I’m not flying that far to skimp on my fun. I did not like some comments related to spending ,particularly my tipping practices on my last few reports. Some people seem not to understand that is only up to spender to assess whether he got good value for his money or not. On more than one occasion what others counted as extravagant and unnecessary high I have feeling that I still underpaid considering experience ( certainly case with two meetings with M at Senso this trip ) but they were cases when I stick to minimum tip payment and still think my money was wasted. But I see validity of request to help others with budgeting so here are numbers based on what I paid. Flight and medical emergency insurance 19500 baht. Hotels 14 nights paid but only 12 used as first night I was still on my way and last night I left at 11 p.m. but paid for the whole night to have access to the room till last minute -19400 baht. Nothing extravagant with exception of 2 nights in Ambiance penthouse. Transportation negligible in great scheme of things , no limo to Pattaya , no taxi to airport. Meals , I don’t keep separate tab but I’m not great on food although treated myself and boy with dinner at mango Tree for 1730 but other than that my breakfasts were 80-200 and lunches / dinners from 200 /Salt and Pepper / to 300-350 the most including beer. I don’t think I had more than 2 meals a day any given day being energized enough by sight and feel of all those beautiful boys. Massages , from 300 /hr. in most Pattaya places all the way to 1490 / 1.5 hr at Senso, tips – I usually tip 1000 / hr , 1500 / 1.5 hr but if experience was great I was happy to add 100-500 to amounts quoted. Bar hopping , drinks from 120 if I remember at Winners all the way to 400-450 in some Bangkok bars, boys drinks the same , in some bars bit less , in some bit more. But I generally buy boy drink only if considering offing him for first time. In most bars on departure I leave 100 baht tip to best looking boy I did not off and I tip 100 each f***ck show participants if any, If I have boy sitting with me but I don’t take him , depending of how long I was holding his hands I give him 100-200. Off fee (payment to bar / massage for taking boy out ) - 400-600. Tip for the boy – Long time 1200 if you call 3-9 a.m. long time at Jomtien, through 2000 in Pattaya to 3000 and 4000 in Bangkok. Short time , from 1200 through 1500 to 2000 and 2500. Now if somebody is really interested in constructing trip budget is easy to plan activities and corresponding expenses or do what I do, just fill up pockets with money and go to have fun but monitor every day how far you are from depleting your funds. This is how I regulate my pace. Hope it helped traveller123, DivineMadman, Vessey and 5 others 8 Quote
PeterRS Posted June 29, 2018 Posted June 29, 2018 You are very kind, Vinapu. That is far more information that I had sought but I am sure it is very helpful to those planning a trip. Thank you. Incidentally I entirely agree with you about tipping. It depends entirely on the experience and the service we receive. It then becomes a matter for each individual. vinapu 1 Quote

I suspect I overpay in tip to the boys - mostly I am paying 2k for short time and 3k for long time (although that figure comes down if there is more than one boy involved LOL) - I really need to try and trim those figures a little. Mine are all in Pattaya of course, I appreciate that BKK expectations are somewhat higher. Similarly for drink prices the 400+ figures for BKK would be too much for me - although I appreciate that there can be impressive shows on offer in compensation. I rail at 200+ at Toy Boys. I agree that prices at Winner Boys are far more reasonable and consequently I am more liberal in buying drinks. Drink prices in the Jomtien Complex are also generally easier on the pocket. Generally I am quite good at budget managing most of the day - but then the bars close and someone suggests going to Nab - and then you find you are hosting a small party of smiling, dancing lads, and then after a few more drinks you find you need two boys to help escort you safely back to your hotel ............. (but that becomes the stuff of happy holiday memories LOL). Quote

I'm thinking along the same lines but figured out for my own use that if I need to economize I'd shed cheap massages and offing unknown boys in favor of overpaying known quality. This was not a first trip when I noticed that most expensive meetings were also most enjoyable. #10 from Winners was noble exception. It's actually good news as it means that I got what I paid for , capitalism at work. Advantage of offing known quality is also fact that one doesn't need to buy any drinks - I come , wave boy over, pay off fee and off we go discuss municipal elections in Timor Leste reader and Vessey 2 Quote

fedssocr Posted July 13, 2018 Posted July 13, 2018 what a fantastic and detailed report! Just booked my next trip's flights. But not until Feb/Mar unfortunately. I always book award flights using miles so I have to plan ahead. I have a little over 2 weeks. I am leaning toward spending about half my time in southern Vietnam. Not sure about the Thailand time. I might just stay in Bangkok as I enjoy the chaos. But it's been several years since I went down to Pattaya so I might spend a few days there as well. I like your style and attitude - and I'm sure the boys do too. A nice smile, cute haircut, and handsome face makes a big difference to me too. I typically spend more time doing the massage thing because it is easier and takes less cash. And I am more of a short time person. I prefer to sleep alone so a long time is sort of out of the question for me. Your massage boy Art sounds like quite a find. Lots of great ideas. vinapu 1 Quote
